The Pro's and Con's of Lockerz

And It's Potential to Be the Next PTZ Hit!

Like many people, I have a bad habit of searching for and watching random videos on youtube. While browsing across Youtube videos one day, I came across one discussing the site known as lockerz. Having never heard of this site, I decided to check it out the video, and what I saw shocked me. In this video, someone was unboxing an XBOX 360 elite, a Rockband set, a PS3 Slim, and a few other prizes, and they claimed that it all came from that one site. Unable to believe my eyes, I decided that I had to try this site out, and here is my review and a few additional thoughts on this site after a few days of use.

Let's start with what I personally liked about the site. First off, it follows a very simple format - a few main buttons (some of which are marked with "coming soon" because the site is still in beta stage) - making it extremely easy to navigate. Earning points has been easy: you earn 2 points for signing in each day and 2 points for completing the daily award. When you first sign up, you also get to play a short game to earn easy points. Aside from those, you also earn 2 points for each person you refer to the site. Also, the site contains a "Z-List" policy: basically, anyone who has 20 or more referrals gets double the points!! With points that you earn, you can redeem them for a number of prizes. Because the site is in beta stage, and the ways to earn points are limited, prizes are their lowest costs ever! Prizes you can earn include ipods, xbox's, playstations, laptops, etc. Aside from the typical prizes, there is also one feature that I particularly like: if you're the philanthropic type, you can also use your points to donate to various charities

However, there are also a few things that I feel could be made better on this site. First off, the amount of points you can earn each day, if referrals aren't included, is 4. If you're new to this site, and can't seem to get any referrals, racking up points will take quite some time. Though this limitation is due to the fact that the site is in beta stage, I have also heard rumors that the cost of prizes will go up once lockerz is fully up and running. So in the end, the speed at which you are able to afford prizes will be about the same. And though this site has a large variety of prizes available, the quantity is limited, with restocks occurring monthly. As a result, if you aren't able to snatch your prize one month, then you'll have to wait until the next month to try again. Also, the only way you can currently join is if a current member sends you an invitation. If you don't know of anyone who is currently a member and want to try the site out, you can always look for members who have posted videos on youtube, or you can leave a comment with your e-mail address and I'll do my best to invite you. Whichever floats your boat.

Overall, I think this site has a lot of potential. The current ways to earn points, though limited, are extremely easy in comparison to other ptz sites. However, this overview is applicable to the beta stage only, as I'm sure many changes will take places once the site progresses. Also, there are those "Coming Soon" buttons that leave many wondering what can lie behind those mystery tabs. The prize variety offered here is great, and its also nice to see the option to give back through donations to charities. With all the positive aspects already in place, and the other ones that I'm sure will come with time, I think this is one site everyone should check out!

CHEATING IS NOT TOLERATED ON THIS SITE. I have been working for lockerz.com since the organization was brought up. I have been assigned a passific job to tell all members or soon to be member that you will not cheat under any curcemstances and if caught points will be errased.

Huh...That's weird...I guess I could try, and we'll see if it works. No, I haven't gotten anything yet, but I'm saving up for something good. Good luck with it!
