Two weeks ago, I have stumbled upon a website called project payday.com. The website is lengthy and mostly focuses on the fact that some people are actually making a living online by filling out offers from companies. It sounds a bit too good but I didn't discard it right away since the site keeps repeating that I will never get rich with this program, which is different from other get rich schemes where they would promise that I would be a millionaire overnight. So I decided to sign up.
If you aren't familiar with this program, here is an overview. Project Pay Day is an incentive freebies program. Bluntly, you get paid to fill out offer to promise companies that you will give their products a try. When the trial ends, you can decide to purchase the product or to cancel it.
Project Pay Day will introduce you to a certain number of forums where there are people who will pay you to fill out offers. One of them you can try for free is free lunchroom.com
In this site, you will see people who are looking for green, which means they are willing to pay others to do offers. Others are looking to go green, which means they are free to do the offers. The term is confusing to me too, but you will get used to it soon enough.
So once you are registered in the forum, you can contact other people via private messages to ask to fill out offers. That person will send you a link. You will have to use this link to get proper credit. Once you fill out the offer and the company confirms it, then that person will pay out via Pay Pal the money. Most of the offers starts at 10$ and can go up to 50$.
Pros:
After trying this program for three days, I can certainly say that it is not a scam. I actually earned 20$ in 2 hours, which isn't so bad for a part time job.
One of the good thing about this program is that you can earn extra money in your free time. If you are willing to work to introduce others to the program, you can even earn more.
Secondly, it's quite easy to do. You only fill out offers with your name and address, then you confirm your email. After that, you get money coming into your account. In general, this is a good program considering so many scams out there on the net.
Cons:
One of the biggest con of this program is that it's very time-consuming. The problem is when you fill out offers, you have to give the company your name, address, phone number, and credit card number. I know people don't like to give out their personal information so freely, thus I only stick with companies that I know like Netflix, or Experian.
Once you complete an offer, you have to write out every single detail about that offer like name, the web address, the company name, cancellation phone number, product number, trial period, and the information you gave them. You will need this if you don't want membership charge applied to your credit card after the free trial period is over. This is extremely time consuming for me.
Then you will have to constantly check your credit card report to see if there is any charge that is not supposed to be there. If there is, then you will have to dispute with the credit card company before the fund is actually released. I haven't had this problem but I hope that I will never do since this would be a nightmare.
One other problem you may get is that once you complete an offer, you may not get paid. I have had this problem one time where I completed 2 offers but didn't get any credit. In this situation, you will have to contact the person who give you the link and tell them. Then you will have to go to the site where you complete the offer to request to be credited manually. This is a very exhausted process for me.
So after 3 days and about 5 hours of working, I got 20$. But since I had to pad 2.19 $ to complete the offers, my net earning is about 17.81$. If I divide this to 5 hours, I would get more than 2$/ an hour.
Since then, I have quit the program because this kind of online business isn't for me. There are many people in the free lunchroom.com actually make a living out this program, but they probably have more free time than I do. So if you are the kind of person who would like earn some extra money on the net by simply filling out offers and not minding giving out your information and checking your credit card frequently, then I honestly think this program may very much suit you. The thought of having worry about cancellation and credit card fraught kind of scare me to continue with this program. But you shouldn't take my word for it, if you want, try it out. I am not an affiliate of Project Pay Day for you see I didn't include any link on this article. However, I hope that my review about this program can help you make a better choice to what kind of online business you would like to venture in.
