The Prosecution of George W. Bush?

John Vann
Many Americans are dissatisfied with George W. Bush, his presidency, and his actions over the past 8 years. With an approval rating of only 31% at the present time, there's obviously been some mistakes made - and some consider his re-election the biggest mistake of all.

Critics suggest the only reason the Bush administration invaded Iraq in the first place was to take control of their oil, and to get revenge on behalf of his father George H.W. Bush. Angry Americans throughout the country accuse Bush of being a war criminal, a terrorist, a murderer, and more.

As a result of the outrage caused by the Bush administration, many people want to see George W. Bush prosecuted as soon as he is out of office. Some speak their opinion quite publicly, either on television, radio or throw protests and demonstrations, and many have even gone on to produce movies or write books on the subject.

Amongst these Americans is former prosecutor and prolific author Vincent Bugliosi. Perhaps known most notable for his involvement as the Los Angeles County Assistant District Attorney for the Charles Manson case, and the book and film that would follow, both entitled "Helter Skelter".

But Bugliosi's new book focuses on something completely different - George W. Bush, the 43rd president of the United States of America. Titled "The Prosecution of George W. Bush for Murder", the New York Times bestselling author lays out all of the facts and arguments without getting into politics or choosing sides - although Bugliosi makes it no secret that he is a Democrat. His point of view in this book is a strictly bi-partisan, legal examination of the travesties committed and the specific laws that have been broken by the Bush administration.

According to his book, it is Bugliosi's standpoint that George W. Bush be placed on trial and charged for the murder of almost 4,000 American soldiers who have fought and died in the Iraq War. The book goes on to explain that the Bush administration should also be held accountable for an additional 100,000 Iraqi murders, the number of citizens there that have died since the invasion that started on March 20, 2003.

His book, "The Prosecution of George W. Bush for Murder" is available at bookstores everywhere in both paperback and hardcover editions. You can learn more information about this subject and about Vincent Bugliosi's book by visiting his website, http://www.prosecutionofbush.com.
