The Psychic Consequences of Sexual Addiction

The desire or the appetite for sexual intercourse (i.e. mutual physical union) between a man and a woman is a natural and normal function of a matured physical body.

The instinct for the act was placed within the physical body by the Creator for the purpose of procreating in order to preserve the species and to avoid extinction; also it is a means of exchanging vital vibration (energy) between both sexes from time to time.

As an expression of mutual love between two people of opposite sex whose physical bodies are matured for the act, sexual intercourse in a spiritual sense and as willed by the Creator of all the worlds, should take place only between two matured people who are really deeply in love. Any reason outside this is dishonoring to God.

As usual with us human beings, the pleasurable sensation accompanying this act of procreation, together with the wrong inner urge to disobey the strict order of the universe, i.e. the natural laws, has led to the gross abuse of this natural desire - which the Lord Almighty placed within the matured physical body of a human being.

In some individuals, the desire and the urge for sex have been so abnormally cultivated and nurtured that they have completely lost the intuitive sensing of what is natural and normal for their matured physical bodies. Consequently, they commit all kinds of excesses and finally allow the coarse urge for sexual intercourse to control them. It then becomes something they cannot do without, something they made their idol; and therefore, their self-made god.
Similar to some other cases of addictions, addiction to sex in men and women together with its attendant health, psychic, emotional and spiritual problems, has astronomically increased globally in the recent times.

With the advent of the "information highway" (the Internet), many people are now hooked on to pornographic films and materials.

Sex addicts frequently visit commercial sex workers, and they may become victims of sexually transmitted infections: HIV, Syphilis, gonorrhea, etc. They may also suffer the resultant effects of these infections, which effects include infertility, damage to the reproductive organ, etc.

A sex addict may abuse children, rape them, harass or molest people sexually in work places, churches and in homes whenever an opportunity presents itself.

A sex addict may not see anything wrong in indulging his or her sexual vices (weaknesses) with his or her best friend's wife or husband.

Many are addicted to masturbation.

Sexual addictions are known to result in:

Broken marriages and relationships.

Loss of job, loss of self-respect, financial bankruptcy due to reckless spending, etc.

A sex addict may also be addicted to smoking, alcohol, drugs and compulsive gambling.

A sex addict is a chronic liar and deceiver; and may engage in all kinds of illegal and criminal activities.

Sex addicts are usually spiritually bankrupt.

All the above mentioned human and social aberrations are known to many people; but there are other aspects of sex addiction which some people may not be aware of.

The invisible electromagnetic radiation that surrounds every living thing including man is known as the aura. Those gifted with the ability to see with their inner eyes can see the compositions of this emanation. It shows the true nature of each person; it can also reveal the positive or negative vibrations which he or she carries or those attached to him or her.

Since sexual intercourse involves the mutual exchange of vibrations or energies, having sexual union or sexual relationship with a man or woman who carries dark, evil or negative energies in his or her energy field (aura) means transferring, sharing or exchanging part of such unwholesome vibrations with him or her.

In the same manner, a sexual partner can also absorb or exchange positive vibrations from the other partner if he or she carries such. Though this is possible, it is very rare, since most sex addicts will be attracted to those who are inwardly weak or morally corrupt themselves.

A sex addict who has multiple sexual partners may then imagine all kinds of dark and negative energies that are transferred to his or her energetic system and the unwholesome effects they may be having within and around him or her.

In this way, many homes, businesses, and good ventures are known to have been invaded and ruined imperceptibly by negative and dark forces just through the carelessness of a pleasure seeker who happens to engage in sexual relationship with a person who carries or is being influenced by negative, very dark and evil vibrations in his or her aura.

Let us also consider other aspects of sexual activities that are not familiar to many people.

Studies have shown that what is known as sexual power or generative power is locked up in every human being at the base of the spine. In a nutshell, at puberty (at the beginning of physical maturity of the body), this power awakens or bursts open, carrying with it powerful and noble inner longing for an upward spiritual striving and growth.

The awakening of the generative or sexual power also comes up with tremendous amount of sexual energy or sexual feeling or instinct meant to be used for the attainment of orgasm, procreation, and for the fueling of certain physical activities.

The feeling of shame is also awakened with the sexual power and sexual energy in order to prevent the teenager from channeling the overflowing sexual energy at this most important period of development into wrong courses.
Ideal outlets for the surging sexual energies in the youths are the following:

Engaging actively in activities that uplift the society such as charitable works.

Engaging in useful adventures that promote social and cultural developments, etc.

Unfortunately, most youths today channel this up surging sexual energies into criminality and excessive sporting activities. Some may also find outlets for the sexual energies in:

Indulging in excessive masturbation.

Prematurely stimulating the reproductive organ through the act of sexual intercourse or even stimulating the urge through watching pornographic and erotic movies.

However, many modern health care-givers laugh at this assumption and relegate it to the realm of myth as they believe that nothing is wrong with masturbation. Though it is true that it is not every person that masturbates becomes an addict, but when it gets out of control, masturbation then becomes sexual addiction.

In our today's world, most people start masturbating, indulging in watching long hours of internet or cyber sex, pornography, phone sex, e.t.c, during puberty; while others may be hooked on to these act in their early adult life.
Recent studies have shown that the ancient medical practitioners who maintained that "masturbation" cause insanity may be right after all. Psychiatrists generally maintain that psychotic symptoms (thought disorder, hallucination, delusions, e.t.c), usually appear in men in their late teenage years or in their early twenties; while in women, the symptoms maybe seen in their twenties or in their early thirties. Psychotic symptoms are very rear after the age of 45 and absolutely not common before puberty. Except those associated with physical brain damages, children are generally protected most mental illnesses.

As we noted in the previous article, the sexual power otherwise known as "generative power", is believed to be locked up at the base of the spine, within the region of the reproductive organ. This sexual power together with its accompanying sexual instinct does not awaken until the reproductive organs are matured and fully functional at puberty.

If the generative power and the sexual instinct are prematurely and forcibly awakened through extensive masturbation or sexual intercourse, when the reproductive organs are not fully matured or when the person is not fully prepared the teenager may experience not only psychic trauma, confusion, some forms of ill health, but most importantly, may risk psychic attack or psychic invasion or possession, insanity, etc.

Look at these from another angle: The spirit - the inner core of man - which uses the physical bodies as its tool is usually safely sheltered in the solar plexus and does not come into full earthly activities until all the body's organs are fully matured - at puberty. However, through excessive masturbation, and premature sexual intercourse or the constant stimulation of the sexual organs, excessive seminal fluid is lost together with vital nutrients.

Apart from these, the premature stimulation of the sexual organs causes the production of hormones which are poured into the blood stream with the consequent change in the blood composition.

A change in the blood composition also produces a change in the blood radiation and this may in turn send a premature signal to the immature body to open the gate for the indwelling spirit to step out from its protective surrounding.

A spirit that steps out prematurely from its protective "castle" into the body that is not fully prepared for earthly activities may be subjected to all kinds of seen and unseen psychic attacks, influences and psychic invasion from the non-physical environment that surrounds every man here on earth. It is in these non-physical or invisible environments that most dark, evil, and earthbound spirits live.

Patients with psychotic symptoms, etc, are such victims; and this is possible only when they become weak and vulnerable.

Apart from procreation, the real purpose of the sexual power in human beings is to help facilitate both inner and spiritual growth. Most adult too often misappropriate much of the sexual power or energy in engaging in frequent and excessive sexual intercourse (sexual addictions) or through other channels such as occult practices, etc.
There are so many teachings that advocate total abstinence from sexual intercourse as means of conserving sexual power or energy for spiritual activities. However, such teachings fail to understand that the suppression of any natural urge is totally against the laws of Nature and therefore against the Will of the Creator Who places such urge within man.

Moderation in the enjoyment of all the good things of life is the key to a healthy life.

Excesses or suppression lead to disharmony and diseases. Inner and spiritual growth can equally be attained without the suppression of any natural urge within man.

In our today's world, the purpose of sex and procreation has been so exaggerated and turned upside down.
A calm observer will see all manners of sexual abnormal behaviours and sexual aberrations almost everywhere among the highly and lowly placed citizens of the world.

Many men believe that women are nothing but sex toys and so should be treated as such. Many men lust after their neighbors' wives, including the daughters. Most women are not helping matters too. Some of them have truly become agents that catch souls for the Darkness. They erotically display their bodies to entice and to lure those men who are weak and vulnerable, offering them their "sweetened poison" (sex) in order to drag then down to the regions of Darkness (hell).

Only the good heavens knows how many noble human spirits from the beyond who are supposed to come to this earth for its ennoblement and upliftment were denied the opportunities through useless and criminal abortions.
Also, in a couple's quest to have children of their own, either for a wife to have a say in her husband's house or family, or for a man to have a son who will inherit all that he had labored for here on earth, many are known to have literally gone to hell or the nether regions either to ask for or to bring a child or children down to this earth through having sexual intercourse with strange men or women without minding the consequences of such act. So long as their wishes are fulfilled, that settles everything - so they think.

The products of sexual addiction or immoral sexual intercourse are usually children born with tendency towards stealing, armed robbery, murder, advanced fee fraud, insensitivity, materialism, etc, or the birth of human beings that can no longer recognize the Will of the Most High.
