The Public Library of Steubenville and Jefferson County has branches in the following locations: Steubenville Downtown (Main), Adena, Steubenville West End (Schiappa) , Brilliant, Tiltonsville, Dillonvale, and Toronto.

All are outlets of the SEO (South East Ohio Regional Library System).

All provide computing & high speed internet access services free of charge.

Copier services are available at most branches for 15ยข per copy.

A Bookmobile makes regular visits to outlying areas and provides delivery of pre-ordered items to the counties residents.

SCHIAPPA BRANCH

This branch features a food canteen with tables in the periodical section and a view up into a sunlit tower.

A wide selection of books are classified by the Dewey Decimal System.

The card catalog is available on several computers and the main room, which several private study booths and upholstered chairs for relaxation.

The Ohio History room houses the Local History and Genealogy Department which is specially equipped for searching family history.

The Internet Room has ten computers for use with high speed internet service.

The Children's Section has books tailored to the younger generation.

A Classroom is available for discourses and special events. Please check with the library for events calendar.

There is a large selection of Music CD's and Movies in DVD and VHS formats in the main hallway.

And the grassy lawn and large parking log are inviting.

One of Andrew Carnegie's investments, his bequeath provided for the continued operation of this structure.
Warm and inviting architecture is seated in downtown Steubenville, Ohio.
The Basement houses the Children's Reading room. This was a favorite place of mine when I was a child. There are paper mache sculptures of fantasy characters scattered about the room.
The Main Floor contains the vast collection of books and the Internet Services area.
The Upper Floor contains Research Archives.
