Anguilla is the perfect holiday for those travelers that want to spend their days at the beach. The glistening waters of the Caribbean and the white pristine sand are a perfect mixture for some fun.
Whatever you desire, lounging around on the shoreline of the warm waters or diving right into the depths of the ocean, Anguilla will not disappoint. Enjoy the many water sports of the island; sailing, surfing, windsurfing, boating, and snorkeling.
Unlike some of the other Caribbean Islands I have found Anguilla to be really laid back with plenty of undiscovered areas. The beaches seem unspoiled and uncluttered compared to some of the other islands.
When you hike through the jungles you can just imagine all the hidden wonders that have yet to be discovered. Anguilla even offers guided tours of the islands caves. It is simply amazing to look at these massive caves and to hear the locals tell the stories of have they came about.
Anguilla is located closely to St. Maarten. Feel free to island hop and discover what is in store for you on St. Maarten. It is relatively easy to get from one island to another. Your best bet is to ask at the hotel that you are staying at. Many can arrange boat transportation for you. If not you can always catch a ferry that runs between the two islands. The ferry ride lasts approximately 20 minutes.
Anguilla is known for having first class resorts. Wherever you decided to stay you will be treated with some of the best hospitality know to the Caribbean. Pamper yourself at the spas or indulge yourself with mouth watering foods. When the sun sets Anguilla's nightlife starts up. Listen to the music of the islands. Dance under the stars or sit back and enjoy a show.
The ideal vacation awaits you in Anguilla; warm waters, blue skies, and private beaches. Anguilla really offers the tourist of the island a chance to enjoy nature; the glorious beaches and waters.
You will not find any casino on this island; you would need to head over to St. Maarten for that. Anguilla really stays true to what she once was. This island may have luxurious resorts but the beaches are still pure.
