Although the hotel has several rooms that overlook the beach, it was all that more beautiful to stay in one of the rooms that overlooked the five story atrium at the center of the Quality Inn Ocean Front in Ocean City, Maryland. Along with a quaint and comfortable café/bar area that serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner there are padded sofas and chairs that were perfect for sitting and relaxing or reading amongst the tropical plants and rock gardens..
My favorite part of the Atrium at the Quality Inn Ocean Front in Ocean City, Maryland was by far the tropical paradise that was home to several exotic birds and tropical fish. There was a bridge that arched over the pond containing the fish that allowed for close up views and great photo opportunities.
While the birds are housed in cages that are covered at night, during the day their cage doors are opened and they are free to fly throughout the tropical Atrium. It is amazing to sit out on the balconies of the upper level rooms and catch one of the birds enjoying a leisurely flight through the Atrium.
And if you get close enough to one in its cage you are often greeted with a 'Hello' or a flattering whistle. It was fun for all of us, from ages 3 to 63, to walk through the hotel and interact with the birds.
At the far end of the Atrium there is a heated pool and children's pool, a hot tub, and a sauna to complete the relaxation destination. It was definitely a tropical paradise that I will soon return to.
Not only is the inside of the Quality Inn Beach Front in Ocean City, Maryland exceptionally beautiful, but the landscaping outside was equally as beautiful. Because of this we were able to catch sight of several outdoor wildlife too although it was limited to the normal creatures you would find flittering about in Ocean City, Maryland, like the native squirrels and butterflies.
The Quality Inn Ocean Front with Atrium Café is definitely one of the best places to relax and vacation in Ocean City, Maryland.
