The Queen Goddess Finds Her Lost Brother

Bubba
It began as a quiet day. The Queen Goddess was writing a few late Christmas cards and I was working on the computer. The Queen Goddess called to me "Look up an address for me please. Sharon and Dick in Sandusky, Ohio" Thank God for AT&T's online directory. I called it back to her and gave it no further thought.

We had been given a gift card to Red Lobster from the Queen Goddess' daughter Cat. I thought it would be a great idea to drive to Sandusky for a special late lunch. While eating lunch the Queen Goddess mentioned she had lost contact with her only cuzzin Sharon. "They live off the road you always take..." You have to remember the Queen Goddess is challenged when it comes to directions. After a few questions about the road I always take???? We proceeded to look for the designated road.

I must believe it was Divine Inspiration that took us directly to a beautiful ranch style home. The drive was clear but to me the house looked dark. There was an aura of love that I felt as we pulled into the driveway. The Queen Goddess made her way to the front door and was greeted with the warmth of long lost family. Even the little wiener dog was filled with the joy of finding a long lost friend. Y'all know if the dog accepts you you are OK. Note: if it weren't for Sharon's red hair I would think she was the Goddess' sister.

Sharon mentioned during the conversation that Bonnie's brother Jim was looking for her. The Queen Goddess was in shock she believed Jim to be dead. "I know I was six or seven years old when I saw him last. Jim was leaving for the war." Jim was the son of the Queen Goddess' father from a previous marriage.

We arrived home with a lost family in our hearts. The phone rang almost before we could remove our jackets. It was Jim looking for his baby sister. The last two days the phone and the e-mail have been flying between Florida and here. Pictures, letters, history etc....50+ years is a long time to catch up on all the love that was mislaid.

I must be truthful. I was a bit hesitant about all this love flowing so rapidly. Jim had the class to call me and within a few minuets I was sure this was a genuine good guy. It is a delight to find another individual that loves life in the manner we do...he knows how to giggle too. For years I have said "I get to choose my friends, I inherited my family." Today I can add it's even more precious when they are both.

Today we celebrate the Divine Blessings of family in a special manner. The Queen Goddess is soaring high above the joy, almost as if Christmas has come again....Mizpah ;-}}>
