The Rainbow

Today I experienced the other side of the rainbow. It was a golden, honey, sunny color that almost melted my heart.The air smelled like the sweetest strawberries with an extra splash of delicious. The water flowed as champagne and I didn't even need a glass. The birds sang the blues and the wind played the sax. It was a sexy touch of jazz in the air.The sky sparkled with every color diamond, jewel, and gem. The flowers danced in the breeze to a rhythm of their own, and I asked no questions.

Love was in the air just waiting to be touched and claimed, so I reached to the sky and just as my fingertips caressed it's sweet grace, I saw a faint figure. I reached a little higher to finally grasp love in my hands, and it was then you appeared. Amazing, I thought to myself. You were everything I have always dreamed of, and so much more of what I never imagined. Suddenly the sky became brighter, the music became louder, and the tranquility had risen to a another level of excitement. It began to rain trust, peace, joy, and honesty. The other side of the rainbow had now become paradise. A place that I could and would spend the rest of my life with you, if I was not daydreaming under this tree here in the park.
