The Rainbow
Water fell like diamonds,
And then the sun broke through!
It split the clouds
And made the world around it
Seem brand new!

God's mighty Hand swept cloudy sky,
And in a burst of love,
He painted colors way up high...
A rainbow from above!
A sign of ancient covenant
With Noah, long ago...
God would never flood the Earth again.
He told him so.
A bow of color in the sky
Is pretty. That's not all.
It shows the faithfulness of God
To those who heed the call.
Next time you see a rainbow
Stretching colors 'cross the sky,
Thank the God who painted it...
