Imagine yourself in a forest, surrounded by tall green trees and shrubbery. Large colorful butterflies flutter here and there, while dragonflies hover over other areas of the place. Above you, you see the indigo sky littered with millions of bright shiny stars that look like diamonds, and in the middle of them you see the Milky Way. To the far left, a beautiful cream colored mushroom the size of a small house lurks, dropping beads of rain down from the sides. Through your journey here, you may spot a gorilla or two, and perhaps you may even catch a glimpse of an elephant and her young. But this isn't a tropical rain forest somewhere off the coast of Africa. This is the Rainforest Cafe.

Located inside of the Ontario Mills mall, in Ontario, Ca, lies one of the most magnificent dining experiences of your life. While the atmosphere may turn one entranced by the sounds of nature as well as the occasional movement of an exotic animal, the Rainforest Cafe's menu is something you will want to dig your claws into.

With items such as the Awesome Appetizer Adventure, where you can choose four of your favorites from their Appetizer menu (choose from Cheese Sticks, Caribe Chicken Tenders, Chimi-Cha-Cha's, Quesadilla's and more,) which costs a fair $15.00 for the amount of food you get, to their Flying Dragon Pepperoni Pizza which costs around $8.00, your sure to find something that will satisfy your taste buds They even have a selection of foods to keep the little tykes happy.

The Rainforest Cafe in the Ontario Mills mall can have it's fair share of good and bad service. This is the only drawback that one can think of for such an otherwise creative and beautiful place. Occasionally, the waitresses or waiters may forget to bring something you have asked, or fail to fill up your ice tea after a few turns, but in the end, just asking a second time will do the trick.

In conclusion, the Rainforest Cafe really is a restaurant that everyone should see and experience. The construction of the place is amazing, and one does feel as though they have been thrust into a forest far away. The sounds of running water catch your ears even past the chatter of the animals. Luckily for us all, the "thunderstorms" that come in about every 30 minutes do not leave us soaking wet.

At the Rainforest Cafe, a "thunderstorm" appears about every 30 minutes, in which the lights will flash on and off throughout the restaurant, accompanied by the sounds of an approaching storm.
