The Ranir Teardrop May Be the Perfect Toothbrush

A Product Review

Charlotte Kuchinsky
I am picky when it comes to my toothbrushes. I don't mean that I have to buy a certain brand or spend a certain amount of money to feel like it's a good deal. That isn't the case. However, there are certain features that I consider must have.

First of all, the bristles have to be soft. I have sensitive gums and bristles that are too hard irritate and make them bleed even when my mouth is healthy.

Secondly, I like a handle that is easy to grip. I don't want my toothbrush to go flying across the room because it slipped out of my wet hand. That's why I like a rubber handle or one that has a gripping mechanism.

I also want a toothbrush with a decent sized head. Those teeny weenie varieties might be great for children but they don't suit me. I want to cover a lot of surface when I brush.

Finally, I want the bristles to vary in length so that I can get into all the crevices well. I don't like leaving debris behind to breed bacteria.

With all of my requirements, I usually have to pay a little more for my toothbrushes. However, recently I found one that fits the bill for just $.50. That's a price that is hard to beat.

The toothbrush comes from Ranir. It is called the Teardrop. Two brushes come in a package for just $1. They are available at Dollar Tree stores throughout the country.

Don't be fooled by the inexpensive price or the unusual distribution source. Ranir is a solid name in dental products. They've been around for just over 35 years.

If that's not enough to put you ease, how about the fact that a dentist developed Ranir products. They include toothbrushes, floss and whitening systems.

Ranir believes that better dental check-ups are possible if an individual takes care of his or her gums and teeth through regular brushing and flossing. They are dedicated to giving their customers the best products to do just that.

The Ranir Teardrop Toothbrush is perfect for a lot of reasons. It has a nice, long handle that measures around 6". It is perfect for even the largest hands.

I love the contoured teardrop shape of the head, which makes it easy to reach all tooth surfaces. The small tip of the head can get into the tiniest places. The remainder of the head fans out to cover a wide surface area.

Varying bristle lengths make it easy to get into tooth crevices. Curved bristles fit the contour of the mouth; reaching every tooth surface with ease.

I also love the sure grip handle, which is made from rubber. It fits perfectly into the hand and remains secure throughout the brushing process. The added thumb grip in the center ensures a successful cleaning experience each and every time.

Teardrop's bright colors make sure that no one gets their toothbrush mixed up with anyone else. There is a color for everyone in the family.

Of course you can't beat the price for the quality of product you are receiving. Cheaper toothbrushes don't offer the same amenities as Ranir's Teardrop. I consider it the perfect toothbrush and give it 5 out of 5 stars.

The Ranir Teardrop is made in China. It is distributed by Greenbrier International, Inc. of Chesapeake, Virginia.
