One way that we learned in the Police Academy to cool your face and make some of the burning go away is to mix Baby Shampoo and water then wash your face with that after you wash your face with that then wash the Baby Shampoo off with cool water. The feeling from the pepper spray will still be there it will still burn some but it will make the chemicals from the pepper spray wash off of your face.

After being Pepper Sprayed you also want to do what is called Strobeing. Strobing is where you constantly blink your eyes. This is supposed to help you see a little bit faster and it reduces the pain. if you are outside face towards the wind to cool your face If you are inside a building near a fan that you can put your face near you should also do that it will help cool your face a little bit better and take the hotness and burning a way a little bit more than if you were out in weather where it is 100 degrees and no breeze blowing at all.
