At first glance Nightclub city seemed a lot like café world only with a nightclub feel. Fortunately I was wrong. Nightclub city is a very unique game all its' own.

You start as a level 1 DJ in a very small hole in the wall club. Your equipment is very basic to start, your bars are very simple, and your dance floor not so flashy. At level one expect to come back frequently to restock your bar, reload your playlist, and invite "Stars" to your club. You can add friends to your employee list, and also to your Entourage giving this game a very personal feel.

Additionally you will need to hire a bouncer as patrons tend to get into heated fights in the middle of your club (just like in real life except no one gets shot in the game). Your bar tenders can do Tequila Sunrise bar tricks tossing the bottles in the air and catching them. When people see this it increases the tip levels for each person viewing the trick. You can click on 2 buttons on the top tool bar. One is Bass Drop, the other is Dedicate Song. When you "drop the bass" people rush to the bar and get additional happiness. When you dedicate the song to a patron you make him/her extremely happy.

As a side note the higher your popularity the higher your profits from entrance fees. The better the bars, the higher the fee you gain from drink fees and tips. You can put in a flat screen tv, wall holograms, pole dancing vixens, and high roller booths to increase your luxury, and in the case of the booths your profits. The more profits you make the higher your levels go. Unlike other Facebook games, cooking, planting, or other mundane tasks do not give you experience, simply making money does.

Last but by far the least, is the game sounds. I am not a big fan of game music. Usually it is very lame and tink tink tinkish. Not this game; we have actual music from today's top artists to listen to while we play. A recent update even expanded that list of songs, and provides a link to buy the songs on Itunes.

Overall this is a good game, perhaps not great, and should be given a try. A lot of people are really going to enjoy this game, I know personally I keep it open while I work just for the great music that it plays.

Sound: 6 stars
Video 4 stars
Overall 5 stars
