The Real Scoop on Craigslist

Craigslists is a new rage that has hit the United States. It has become a very popular internet site. Packed full of listings ranging from want ads to for sales. From real estate to for rent. Even has its own pet sites too.

If you are looking for someone or something you can list there. Each state has its own version and it breaks down into city/countys for you. This is a great site to do your to do and to want list with.Unfortunely it has its flaws.

I decided to post a few things on different parts of the site and sit back and wait to see what happens. The way this works is that it keeps your email private and it forwards any response to you.You can tell that it is not monitered in any way.

The first posting I listed was for a single mom wanting an at home job to make extra cash.I recieved several response and was quite excited.I started to read them one by one.Several people offered theie ideas. Some mother told me what they did. Then there was those who responded with sexual offers and rude comments.I even had a man who said he was a pimp and he would show me the ropes.

To think that people find it amuseing to send these email. This was my first clue that things were a little fishy.I also posted on the site under for sale.Had lots of response and arranged for 2 different people to show.

Guess what? both never showed or contacted back..Now this would be out of the hands of craigslist, but you have to start to think was this really worth it..I then posted on the for free site.

Had approx 30 to respond and the first person I choose showed..Overall I would say that craiglists is a great site.Just beware of those who respond.Take the time to put all the right words into place.Be warned that there are sick people out there who will make a simple ad turn into something nasty.

Don't ever list any personal info in your ad. Make sure you get there info before you give them yours.Do your research and look over the site before you do any postings to learn the ends and outs.If you are Trying to buy on there make sure that you ask every question you can about the item to insure you are buying a good item.

If you remember these helpful reminders you should have a good time on craigslists. If you so happen to forget what you have read.Just remember you were warned..

I am a single mother of 4.Thanks to my kids I have learned that life is way to short to not have fun and speak your mind with freedom.Through my eyes I hope to open yours..  View profile

The best way to post on Craigslist without getting all those unwanted responses is get your self a Squeeze page website their cheap, and have them respond to the website. Put your Link or website address in the body of the ad
this is what I do, here is an ad that I post: If you are looking for Fixer upper at wholesale prices go to: http://www.FixerUpHomeDeals.com
and all they have to do is click the link and it goes right to your website and not to your email. If you set up a squeeze page site it will alert you via email that somebody went to you site and you can screen who is answering you ad. Hope this helps. http://www.Pre4closureBlog.com
