Music of the 60's 70's 80's and 90's changed the landscape of music forever. Gone were the days of romantic sentiment based crooners. What replaced the easy listening music of the 50's was an explosion of hard beats, thumbing drums and out of this world guitar riffs. The 60's heralded change across the board. The free love concept took hold of love and peace groups in the United States and spread across the globe. Rock and roll emerged edgy and harder than ever. The expression "freedom" soared in the hearts and spirit of the youth everywhere. Those who were fortunate enough to be born at the right time in history and witness the 60's, 70's and 80's music scene you were most fortunate indeed.

The best of the best rock music and history in the making occurred during the mid-seventy and 80's. Bands like Def Leppard hit the ground running in the early years 1977-1979. This hard rock, heavy metal band hails from Sheffield, England. Def Leppard band members included Joe Elliott (vocals), Phil Collen (lead guitar), Rick Savage (bass guitar), Vivian Campbell (rhythm guitar), Rick Savage (bass guitar), and Rick Allen (drums). By the early 1980's, Def Leppard's rise and rise commenced producing unstopped and relentless rock music.

The band produced some of the most rocking rock sound of its time and sold over 65 million albums worldwide. Dep Leppard took their very unique style of rock and set themselves apart from the rock pack by the time the band released the Hysteria album. Top singles to top the charts from the Hysteria album include 'Love Bites,' 'Animal,' 'Armageddon It,' and 'Pour Some Sugar on Me' Two of Def Leppard albums entitled Pyromania and Hysteria reached the level of the RIAA diamond certification.
