The Real Way a Child Should Be

When I was small, I always thought
how boring studies were!
what a burden I got!
I looked at the street children and wondered,no doubt,
the street children were free,they could scream and shout,
without any worries they could wander in the street,
until they tired their hands and feet
but what about me, I had to study and study,
I did not have time even to play with my teddy
when exams were coming,I had to concentrate
and,then,always worry about my terrible fate!
but now I have grown and I know I was not right,
my heart pains at their very sight.
I really wish they could become like me,
the real and true way a child should be.
I wish they knew how to read and write
and live in this world without any fright.
I wish they had some books in their bags
and proper uniforms instead of rags.
