The Real World / Road Rules Challenge: Cutthroat Premieres October 6th, 2010!

MTV's The Real World may not be as big a hit as it used to be, but the Real World / Road Rules Challenges always proved to be exciting! This season, The Challenge: Cutthroat, promises a lot of twists as MTV has brought 30 fan favorites to Prague, Czech Republic to fight it out for the ultimate prize. Who are they? ~ Abram ~ First Appeared on MTV: Road Rules: South Pacific ~ Previous Challenges: The Gauntlet, The Inferno 1-3, Battle of the Sexes 2, The Island ~ Previously engaged, Abram is now single and it sounds like he will be looking to mingle on Cutthroat.

~ Ayiiia ~ First Appeared on MTV: Real World: Cancun ~ Previous Challenges: None ~ Newbies are always interesting on the challenges because you know the veterans are ready to pounce on them. Ayiiia brings a temper to the show which may make it even harder for her to make it to the top.

~ Brad ~ First Appeared on MTV: Real World: San Diego ~ Previous Challenges: Battle of the Sexes 2, The Inferno 2, The Duel, The Gauntlet 3, The Ruins ~ Now married, Brad and his wife Tori are both coming back to win! Last time they played, they didn't play so well together. Can Brad win his first challenge with Cutthroat?

~ Brandon ~ First Appeared on MTV: Fresh Meat II ~ Previous Challenges: Fresh Meat II ~ Brandon is as close to a newbie as you can get without being a newbie, since his only previous experience was another challenge. However he still thinks he can play without lying or backstabbing, is that possible in this game?

~ Camila ~ First Appeared on MTV: Spring Break Challenge ~ Previous Challenges: None ~ No the Spring Break Challenge doesn't count towards the Real World Challenges! It's just not quite the same. Camila may have taken home a prize over Spring Break, but can she cut it in Cutthroat?

~ Cara Maria ~ First Appeared on MTV: Fresh Meat II ~ Previous Challenges: Fresh Meat II ~ Cara Maria didn't make a lot of girl friends on Fresh Meat II, and MTV is teasing she's going to become fast friends with one of the game's top guys. It looks like she'll have lots of drama in Cutthroat!

~ Chet ~ First Appeared on MTV: Real World: Brooklyn ~ Previous Challenges: The Ruins ~ Chet was the first to go on The Ruins, so he's back with an all new strategy after learning that nice guys finish last when it comes to this game. Will he be able to play a more underhanded game?

~ Dan ~ First Appeared on MTV: Road Rules: Viewers' Revenge ~ Previous Challenges: The Island ~ Dan is coming to Cutthroat as a recovering alcoholic and hopes to bring his A game. But will he be able to avoid temptation when surrounded by all the other drunken idiots?

~ Derek ~ First Appeared on MTV: Real World: Cancun ~ Previous Challenges: None ~ Another newbie to the game, Derek hopes his athleticism will keep him in Cutthroat longer than most newbies who are targeted from the beginning. Can he surprise everyone and beat out the veterans?

~ Derrick ~ First Appeared on MTV: Road Rules: X-Treme ~ Previous Challenges: Battle of the Sexes 2, The Inferno 2 and 3, The Gautlet 2, The Duel, The Island, The Ruins ~ With 8-9 seasons and 2 wins behind him, Derrick is one person that definitely has experience in the game! Can anything possibly surprise him in Cutthroat?

~ Dunbar ~ First Appeared on MTV: Real World: Sydney ~ Previous Challenges: The Island, The Ruins, The Duel 2 ~ He's a veteran with zero wins, and lots of drama under his belt. Will his friends burn him again or will he actually make it to the end of Cutthroat?

~ Emilee ~ First Appeared on MTV: Real World: Cancun ~ Previous Challenges: None ~ Emilee is confident she will do well, even though newbies are always picked on in challenge history. Will this confidence be enough to earn her some respect? Or will it earn her lots of enemies?

~ Emily ~ First Appeared on MTV: Real World: DC ~ Previous Challenges: None ~ Coming into this game with an ex-boyfriend Ty may make Cutthroat extremely rough for this newbie. She's already got drama and the show hasn't even started yet!

~ Eric ~ First Appeared on MTV: Fresh Meat ~ Previous Challenges: Fresh Meat, The Duel 2, The Gauntlet 3 ~ Eric may bring some experience to the game but there's one thing he won't be bringing - 35 extra pounds! He's lost weight and comes to Cuttroat with a new healthy outlook that might help him this time around.

~ JD ~ First Appeared on MTV: Real World: Brooklyn ~ Previous Challenges: None ~ JD comes to Cutthroat with hopes to represent the gay community well, which means he'll have to learn to keep his temper in check! Can JD win his first ever challenge?

~ Jenn ~ First Appeared on MTV: Real World: Denver ~ Previous Challenges: The Inferno 3, The Island, Fresh Meat II ~ Jenn's made it to the end but never quite took home the money in previous challenges. As a veteran she already has a leg up on all the newbies, so can she win the big prize on Cutthroat?

~ Johnny ~ First Appeared on MTV: Real World: Key West ~ Previous Challenges: The Gauntlet 3, The Inferno 3, The Island, The Ruins ~ Johnny is looking for his third win with Cutthroat, but this time his friends, Kenny and Evan, stayed home. Can he go it alone in Cutthroat?

~ Katie ~ First Appeared on MTV: Road Rules: The Quest ~ Previous Challenges: The Gauntlet 1, 2 and 3, The Inferno, Battle of the Sexes 2, Fresh Meat, The Ruins, The Duel 2 ~ With Cutthroat being her 9th challenge, Katie has been all over the place on these challenges. Sometimes in the In Crowd and other times not, it's hard to guess how well Katie will do.

~ Laurel ~ First Appeared on MTV: Fresh Meat II ~ Previous Challenges: Fresh Meat II ~ You'll remember her as being the female Kenny - she's just as cocky that's for sure! Unfortunately her confidence couldn't bring her to first place in her last challenge, can she do it now that she has some experience under her belt?

~ Luke ~ First Appeared on MTV: Fresh Meat II ~ Previous Challenges: Fresh Meat II ~ Last season he got paired with one of the hated players in the game, so this time Luke hopes going it alone will be good for him. He's another one of those nice guys that wants to prove himself worthy - can he do it in Cutthroat?

~ Mandi ~ First Appeared on MTV: Fresh Meat II ~ Previous Challenges: Fresh Meat II ~ Mandi did well on her first challenge and hopes to do even better on her second. Does she have what it takes to fight her way to the top or will the veteran's squash her before she gets to far?

~ Melinda ~ First Appeared on MTV: Real World: Austin ~ Previous Challenges: Fresh Meat, The Gauntlet 3 ~ Now divorced, Melinda hopes to come into Cutthroat as an individual and prove she can still make it to the end. Will her third challenge be the one she actually wins?

~ Paula ~ First Appeared on MTV: Real World: Key West ~ Previous Challenges: The Inferno 3, The Island, The Gauntlet 3, Fresh Meat II, The Duel 2 ~ Notorious for getting drunk and overly emotional, Paula's lost the game all six times she's been on. Will her friends help her make it to the end? Or will there be more crying in Cutthroat?

~ Sarah ~ First Appeared on MTV: Real World: Brooklyn ~ Previous Challenges: The Ruins, Fresh Meat II ~ Sarah's made it all the way to the end, but not far enough to win the money. Can she give herself the extra push in Cutthroat to win the game?

~ Shauvon ~ First Appeared on MTV: Real World: Sydney ~ Previous Challenges: The Ruins, The Duel 2 ~ Shauvon is coming back to the game a few pounds lighter, and a few shades tanner, but will that help her in the Cutthroat challenges?

~ Theresa ~ First Appeared on MTV: Fresh Meat II ~ Previous Challenges: Fresh Meat II ~ Without Wes or Kenny around to distract her, Theresa plans to keep her eye on the prize in Cutthroat. Can she keep her hormones under control in order to win the game?

~ Tori ~ First Appeared on MTV: Road Rules: Viewers' Revenge ~ Previous Challenges: The Duel 2, The Gauntlet 3 ~ After almost losing her relationship on The Duel 2, Tori comes back this time with a husband. Can their relationship handle the test of Cutthroat?

~ Ty ~ First Appeared on MTV: Real World: DC ~ Previous Challenges: None ~ Ty promises to be on his best behavior on Cutthroat after earning a bad rep in DC. However that's what a lot of people say when they first come on the challenge. Can he prove he's really changed or will he butt heads and get sent home?

~ Tyler ~ First Appeared on MTV: Real World: Key West ~ Previous Challenges: The Duel, The Inferno 3, The Gauntlet 3 ~ Tyler is experienced - experienced at going home early that is! Having never made it very far in past challenge, can Tyler bring a new strategy that will take him to a Cutthroat win?

~ Vinny ~ First Appeared on MTV: Fresh Meat II ~ Previous Challenges: Fresh Meat II ~ Vinny rests completely on his physical aspects when it comes to these challenges. However we all know that strength isn't usually enough to get you to the end. Will he manage to bring some gameplay as well?

Who's Missing? It looks like Wes is finally taking a break from challenges. Along with him we also won't be seeing Johana, his on-again / off-again girlfriend that the drama often centered around. Kenny is also sitting out this season so for once we won't have to hear how great he thinks he is! Also sitting out, Kenny's good friend Evan. Other names we won't see this season include Landon, Evelyn, Darrell, C.J., C.T., and Danny. Even with all these vets missing, there are still enough drama-filled people above to make this one heck of a season!
