If you know something to be true, it is because you have said it to yourself over and over. This is a handy way to make yourself believe things that simply are not so. Not that you mean to do that of course. It goes back to feeding your subconscious mind information whether it is true or not. Once you go to all that trouble, events that happen to you in your life only serve to reinforce what you believe. You get proof of the truth, at least on the surface. In effect, you have created the reality you experience. What does that mean exactly? Let's explore.
As an example, you may hold a belief that you do not have what it takes to succeed and realize the abundance that you desire. If that is what you truly believe, there will be little motivation to try to change your current situation. You could even start dodging opportunities that could bring you success. If you somehow do overcome the doubts about your abilities and start reaching for success, here comes the affirmation for you when you hit the first bump in the road. See, you really didn't have what it takes. You have just confirmed your wrong belief and reinforced the negative energy that will keep you right where you are.
Every time you have a thought you are putting energy into the universe. The energy might at first be saying you want to be successful and find joy, but then those old doubts come right up behind to sabotage the first thought. You have then just told the universe to ignore your original thought because you believe you do not deserve to be happy. What happens then? The energy backs off and abundance and success fail to show. You have again confirmed that negative belief that keeps you standing where you are. There is then no progress and a reinforced belief that you really do not deserve to succeed.
If you want to stop creating this reality for yourself, it is time to question those beliefs that have been keeping you down. Whatever those beliefs are, whether it is about business, your love life, or whatever, you need to question each and every one of those beliefs and prove them true or not. You have to bring those fears and feelings of unworthiness into the light and figure out the why of those beliefs. Once you have those answers, you can begin to change those limiting beliefs and recharge with more positive affirmations. The best part of this process is that once you get started, the evidence of the truth of these new beliefs will start showing up and the old beliefs will disappear for good.
