The Realization is Upon Me

I Turned into My Mother

*Shell*
I turned into my mother

As I child, I swore I would never say,
The words that I will on this day.

Sitting, jumping, standing, as we play,
There are somethings we always say.

I will never turn into my mother,
She is too harsh, rough, and goofy in every way.

The singing songs, crazy dances, playing with us each day.
Like her i don't want to be, i would sit and Pray.

A stay at home mom is not a job for me to do ,
insane she is to be with kids all hours at a time.

A child I had, and it was not sad,
when the day had come when those words i would say.

I turned into my mother!
Singing songs, dancing goofy, playing all day long.

A stay at home mom I am,
Like my mother i will be.

The apple never does fall to far from that tree.

Lovely, children will realize the true love of a mother at some point in time. A poem from the heart. Great work - siva
