The Republican Party 2008

We are witnessing history for sure in America today. We are seeing a black man run for President and a woman run for Vice President. Hillary made history with her bid for the White House. Yes, history is being made as well as being repeated.

John McCain ran in 2000 against big George Bush and lost. That should tell all of us something. History is also repeating in the way this election is being run. Big shows, lots of untrue rhetoric and absolutely no solutions. They think if they just SAY "Reform" enough America will fall into a deep sleep and wake up on November 4 and vote for them.

If you were present for John McCain's debut on The View, you saw him surrounded with Barbara Walters, Whoopie, and Joy Behar. With Sheri and Elizabeth on the outer ring. Question after question from women, America. The ones that everybody thought would jump on the Sarah Palin bandwagon.

As Joy asked him about the ads running with the oh so obvious lies, he stated no they were not lies and then switched the subject to say "Have you seen some of the ads they are running"! He then totally turned his back on Joy Behar. Then Barbara said he said they same thing talking about Hillary Clinton's healthcare plan. He denied again Obama wasn't referring to Palin. Then he said twice, "Obama chooses his words very carefully.

When asked about Roe V Wade, he point blank said he was against it. He said he and Palin would attempt to put Justices in office that would reverse it and then just let the states decide for themselves. He said twice he wanted people who would "strictly" interpret the Constitution. What does that mean? Does it mean that Sarah Palin will get her way and only mothers whose lives are in danger will be allowed to have an abortion? What other strict interpretations will be made. There are 3 Justice positions coming available in the next 4 years folks.

The next side step was on Palin's so called reformer title. When asked "exactly what reforms she will make and who will she reform", McCain's answer was "All of Washington" I wonder do the "good ole boys" backing McCain and Palin know that yet? Barbara asked him who she would reform since the Republicans have been in the White House for 8 years. His answer was well the Democrats have been in charge of the House of Rep for the last two years and nothing has changed. Give me a break here.

John was absolutely pitiful on The View. All of his answers were vague and most of the questions were met with something about the Democrats or the old switcharoo act. He did not answer one single question about an issue.

I am not sure if this interview was part of the same dance Sarah Palin did with Charlie Gibson or not. Maybe she taught John. If so, it would be called the Alaska SideStep. If he taught her we can call it the Arizona SideStep. Both are offsprings of the now infamous George Bush Texas Two Step. I actually felt sorry for John in that roomful of women for about a second. Then I was cheering them on. Elizabeth is of course a staunch misguided Republican. She tried so hard to support John but I think even she knew he was sinking fast.

As for Sarah Palin and her interviews with Charles Gibson, I am so not surprised. She did exactly what I thought she would do. Cocky attitude, lack of truth and information and total compliance with what the advisors told her to do.

Her lack of knowledge about the Bush Doctrine was scary. Her comments about "perhaps so" when asked about a war with Russia were extremely scary. The fact that her most profound statement about them was, "Charlie, You can actually see Russia from land in Alaska", is extremely disconcerting.

Every question she was asked, she dodged or gave some unintelligible answer. Most of the interview, I was saying "WHAT?" It was easy to see who was really talking. She didn't have the answers so the answers she gave were the best she could do.

John McCain is playing a game folks. It is called "Help the Old POW Senator have a legacy"! He is willing to say or do ANYTHING to be President. His choice for VP was proof of that. He has chosen a woman who hires her relatives and friends, fires anyone she doesn't like and will tear your world apart if you cross her. She wants to put abortion back in the dark alleys, she made RAPE victims pay for their own rape kits in Wasilla. Are you kidding me?

As she goes around to a limited number of places without John McCain, she is not ALLOWED to talk to reporters. Does this sound like a REFORMER to you?

She is going to stand up on that stage until election day, even though she and John McCain have been called on the "Bridge To Nowhere" project many times in the last few weeks, and tell the audience over and over that SHE stopped the bridge. America has watched the news PROVE she didn't stop anything and that she is lying, yet the Republicans will still back her.

I don't know about you but that tells me to be afraid, be very afraid........

The Republicans of 2008 are spending millions of dollars on lies, half truths, smoke screens and more. They have been called on lie after lie and still stand in front of the American people and continue to lie. They think if they just keep saying it that the truth will go away. They think because it comes from their mouths, we are suppose to believe it.

The Republican Elite should be quaking in their boots. They are sad cases to win no matter what the costs to America is. We will back the bad guys just because they are Republican.

I have in the last several days watched Fox News and their Rasmussen Presidental Polls. Have you seen this farce of this poll? Fox splashes this across the screen saying McCain has conquered certain states and he is showing to being winning in key battleground states. They talk about how Sarah Palin is taking over this election for McCain and helping him win.

The farce of the damn thing is, In the beginning of the poll when they first flash that it is a Rasmussen Poll, they have the number of votes that were received. Now this site for Fox is Rasmussen.com. They are a TOTALLY REPUBLICAN site that boasts their knowledge of what is going on. Totally Republican folks!

First of all, how many people were surveyed in this Prestigious Poll? Each time I have watched, the maximum number of voters were 3,000. That is right my friends. This guy and Fox are boasting about such an accurate poll and only 3,000 people voted. McCain naturally was in the lead. DUH!

I don't know how many hits this guy gets on his site and how biased it is. I would be willing to venture it is a fixed poll. Fox is undoubtedly Republican. Another case of smoke screen and mirrors. If they just tell America enough that John McCain is winning, maybe Americans will be dumb enough to vote for him. If only 3,000 people voted, how many does that leave that we don't know what they think?

I don't see this site as being all that popular. I would venture he got his numbers through less than straight up methods. What if it took him over a week to get the numbers and he only had 3,000 people visit his site all week. If you don't know about the site, how were you to vote?

Sounds awful fishy to me. But that is the nature of the Republican Party. Lie, Cheat, Steal, Misrepresent, Abuse and Misuse anyone that is present and dumb enough to listen.

Lets see how Sarah Palin holds up to the debate with Joe Biden. As a lifetime Republican, I have woke up. No more supporting someone because of party.

As an American, party is not what matters. Our country and our children matter. Standing together and rebuilding this country is the answer. I am neither a Republican or a Democrat. I am American. I want a President who is more concerned with the issues of today than with winning.

If we divide Sarah and John and put them in a position to be forced to answer the questions of issues, they will show their true colors. If we don't divide and conquer these would be politicians, we are putting ourselves back in the same boat we have been trying to get out of for 8 years.

Supporting a big show won't fix problems. If you are supporting the Republicans because you like that a WOMAN is in office, or you have the hots for her, or you have a special needs child like her, or you like her husband, WAKE UP PEOPLE!

Will her personality or looks or special needs child or pregnant daughter pay your mortgage next month or put gas in the car? Will it help pay your medical bills?

NO! The Republican Party of 2008 is the worst I have seen in my life. Ronald Reagan is rolling over in his grave at both the American People and the Government he supported in Washington.

If Americans allow this to happen, don't whine after it is too late.
