The Resurrection

(for My Personal Savior, Jesus Christ)

Lisa R. Strong
Early Sunday morn;
The stone has been rolled away;
Jesus has risen!

Brothers and sisters;
Gather around the whole world;
Lifting up their hearts;

We are one body;
The family of our God;
Sing alleluia!

Peace is here at last;
Captives have been freed from sin;
Glory to you, Lord!

Death has been destroyed;
The gates of Heaven opened;
Hope is ours to hold;

Love we must proclaim;
His promises He will keep;
Let Him in your Heart!

Our Father's sweet gift;
The gift of our salvation;
Free to us He gave;

Let the Word be spread;
We proclaim with all our hearts;
Jesus Christ is Lord!

    This was astounding, beautiful and a true testament to your love of God. Your talent is a true testament of His love for you. You compliment each other so well. Sorry I missed it on the Day, but anytime finding this would be (is) a treasure. Thank you.

    David is back (on the outside). He is leaving hateful and demeaning comments...When I see them...I will block whatever name he is using, and delete his comments....I don't really care about the pageviews that much.

    Now that is a wonderful Easter Sunday poem and I must have read it 5 times already and liked it so much. Thank you Lisa.

    This is beautiful Lisa. In response to the message you sent me, remember Jesus warned us that His name would, not might, bring offense. I decided a long time ago that I would never let the bullies of this world stop me from talking about my Lord, Jesus Christ. You can never win with those who have been turned over to a hard heart. I ignore their threats, forgive them, and trust that God will deal with them in His own time (and He always does). Thank you for being brave enough to proclaim the name of Jesus. You did a wonderful job on this!
