Dr. Ohmigod, famed psychiatrist, has a new patient that he is seeing for the very first time. Let's see how his therapeutic session goes:
Dr. Ohmigod: Welcome. Please sit down.
Patient: Thank you. I'm a little nervous.
Dr. Ohmigod: What seems to be the problem? Why are you nervous?
Patient: I'm tired. I'm exhausted. I'm on edge. I can't find time to sleep.
Dr. Ohmigod: That is serious. Why can't you sleep?
Patient: I'm constantly communicating online. I can't seem to stop. Every second I'm busy with a new chat or discussion.
Dr. Ohmigod: I see.
Patient: I have millions of friends. I'm at my wits end. I'm heading for a nervous breakdown.
Dr. Ohmigod: Popular and yet overwhelmed, most interesting.
Patient: What can I do about my problem? How can come to terms with my dilemma?
Dr. Ohmigod: Have you ever thought about terminating some of your friends?
Patient: I've done that, but then I keep getting more and more friends. It never stops!
Dr. Ohmigod: I think you need to take a break from being online. Go for a walk. Take a nice, long vacation. Relax and enjoy life.
Patient: But, but...
Dr. Ohmigod: It's for your own good. Now I want to see you in a week. I expect to see you feeling much better and refreshed.
Patient: Thank you for your advice.
Dr. Ohmigod: You're quite welcome Ms. Twitter.
