We made it this far but now what? We are 60 years into the atomic age, the space age, surrounded by technology but not any better for it, surrounded by security measures but not any safer for it.... surrounded by Playstation 3's and Nintendo Wii's but still bored after awhile.
We've made leaps and bounds and strides in conquering diseases only to be presented with new ones. Economic insecurity is ever prevalent despite all the safety nets in place. Despite this being the most prosperous nation on earth up to 1/2 our population of young and elderly goes to bed hungry every night. Religious hatred and fanaticism are still twin ogres breathing down our necks in an era where information on every world religion is made widely available.
The more things change, the more they stay the same.
To top everything off, there are signs all around us of the coming one world government. One would have to be completely blind to dismiss it as a conspiracy notion any longer, especially in light of the fact that Interpol has just been signed on to take greater police powers in the US. And whatever your nutjob conspiracy of choice is, the fact remains that no matter what mankind does to try to elevate himself to a position of no danger, no pain, no illness, i.e. a utopia...
...we will never succeed.
We only have to look at the past 100 years of history to know that giving all of our personal power to a man in exchange for security and order, is not only ineffective but the worst mistake we could possibly make.
Just ask the Germans.
We only have to look at China's Communist bureaucracy to know that an all powerful government ceases being the servant and becomes the master, making us all their slaves.
Just ask Harry Wu.
Unfortunately we seem to be headed down a path where a one world government may soon become reality. To be told where to shop, where to live, what to eat, whom to marry, when and if to have children, whether or not you can travel, is firsthand personal knowledge to the Russians, and should be anathema to every American.
What can we do?
It's supposed to happen. It's been foretold for two thousand years. Whether or not you believe in a thing is immaterial to whether or not it happens. You would have to be very, very stupid to hide your head in the sand.
Our battle is not with the Illuminati, or with the Club of Rome, or with the Committee of 300, or the UN, or with Obama, or the Skull and Bones, or even with Antichrist himself when he shows up in the picture, our battle is with principalities and powers and unseen forces of darkness to whom the former are merely puppets.
What exactly is supposed to happen?
There has been talk of a one world government going on for decades. Our decentralized system of sovereign nations is supposed to give way to one huge centralized government. One world court. One world religion. And so on.
The Dome of the Rock will be demolished and the third Jewish temple will go up, with resumption of the sacrifices in it. When this happens, the sh-t is getting ready to hit the proverbial fan.
Then a man will sit down in the temple claiming to be God, and having all the charm and passion and so forth, even the power to do miracles... he will convince MILLIONS, of these claims. He will promise us that if we worship him he will bring about world peace, which will happen... for a time.
His promises will turn into "Worship me or else." Anyone refusing to, or refusing the mark, be it an RFID chip, a biochip, or whatever technological gimmick they will use to brand us like cattle, will be arrested, imprisoned, and executed.
When this happens, stand up and take notice. God promises us eternal life, not a problem free life. He promises us his Protection, not earthly security. God is not a bully. He doesn't put on a show. And he doesn't feel the need to say "Worship me or else."
The mere fact that all this is going to go down does not mean you should head for the hills, start a commune, grow your own vegetables and shoot any son of a bitch that comes within 50 feet of your compound. It does mean that freedom loving God fearing people need to stand tall. It does mean that we need to seek one another out and take care of one another. It does mean that you need to be aware of what this impostor is and isn't, and put your trust in the one true God instead.
It may mean losing your life. Better that than living as a slave.
No matter how bad it gets, know that this battle has already been won. Know that God is going to shorten these days and that this antichrist person's days, no matter how tyrannical, are numbered.
Rather than throw up our hands in discouraged despair we need to seek one another out and be there for one another. Supporting one another in our defiance of a system we know is evil... and wrong. Supporting one another in upholding principles we know to be right.
Whatever your doctrine, or your belief system, this much is true.
Our home is not here on Earth, this is just a temporary place for us to live and learn. Our real home is with God. Our future is in Heaven with the one who made us. Until Christ comes back we must learn to help one another or we will all hang... separately.
When will this happen? I cannot say. I'm not a whack job who is completely certain that all of this is going down on the second weekend of 2012. I only know that sooner or later it will happen.
Wars and rumors of wars... the end is not yet.
If you read the book of Revelation do so with an open mind; the human race is going through the beginning of the birth pangs. Don't approach this with fear because the culmination is going to be joyous.
Stand tall. Have faith. Help each other. Your brothers and sisters, and God, are what you have to support you in these days, long after democracy vanishes. When all else fails, pray.
