Advantages and Disadvantages of the Casio EX-Z1000
In respective of the various and magnificent features of this Z1000, it is pack in an attractive portable slim casing. Happily Casio has made a very intelligent use of the extra width of the screen with a 'panel' of menus down the left hand side.
One set to this product is the poor quality of the screen shots; this Casio product does not support video out in record mode.

When pressing the 'Display Button' a small menu at the top of the frame comes up, in record and playback mode. This gesture makes it possible to choose different layouts and levels of information, adjust brightness and many more.

If the SET button is pressed, it activates the panel of menus down the right hand side. There are options for size, flash mode, focus mode, Pressing the menu button in record mode brings up three tabbed menus, each with two or three pages of options.

In order to find menu options for image size, the quality tab is the place you have to visit in the Z1000, AE-compensation, white balance, ISO, metering mode, sharpness/saturation/ contrast and flash level.

In the Casio EX-Z1000 camera, pushing the zoom lever to the left (wide) brings up - very quickly. You can also magnify images up to 8.0x by moving the zoom lever to the right. The four directional keys let you scroll around the image.

Design of the Z1000
The Casio EX-Z1000 is made up of a super-slim all-metal body. The large screen dominates the rear, leaving room for only the barest of external controls The sliding lens design and metal body have allowed Casio's designers to produce a very slim (23mm thick) and very pocket able camera.

Key Body Element of the Z1000
Along the 'SET' button in the middle, the ever-present four-way controller is used to navigate menus. The left and right keys can be modified to control a variety of functions including AE compensation, white balance or ISO. Underneath the 4-way controller is the 'BS' button, providing instant access to the 37 scene. The Z1000 comprises of a 16:9 wide screen 2.8-inch 230K-pixel screen.
This Casio Ex-1000 has a cradle that performs four functions: It act has a place where the batter can be recharged, It also help the camera to run a slide show on the LCD monitor, It acts as a USB connection to a PC or direct-printer, it add audio/video output.
