The Review of the Dell Precision M6300

The Dell Company has a lot of potential in the device that would attract every enthusiastic procurer around the globe. Although their device is high in price but would not be compared to the performance and functions it performs. The introduction of the Dell Precision M6300 laptop has made it possible that the Dell Company has what it takes to engage other top manufacturers in the market for a competition. The M6300 manufactured by the Dell Company is equipped with a 17 inch screen, which is quite common in the market. Other manufacturers that have adhered to this innovation are the Toshiba Company, and many more. The Dell Precision M6300 has a lot of fascinating features that includes Mobile Intel P965 Express Chipset, Intel Wireless WiFi Link 4965AGN (802.11a/g/n), 2GB PC2-5300 DDR2 SDRAM (utmost capacity 4GB), 64GB Samsung SSD. This is a welcome idea and a real invention.

Build and Design

The M6300 is quite similar to other devices previously introduced by the Dell Company. The device has a well articulated built and a durable framework. It is not subjected to wear and tear at the case may be. Another benefit using this device is that the screen lid is not prone to flex. When using the device on a desk, because of the metal alloy it is equipped with the laptop's print would appear on the desk. In order to avoid this scenario a procurer should place a clean piece of cloth on the table. The M6300 laptop is equipped with a dimension of 1.6 x 15.5 x 11.3 inch and has a weight of 8.5 lbs. A 64GB Samsung SSD is also featured in the M6300, which is a welcome development.

The device features a 17 inch screen that is equipped with a matte WXGA finish that has a resolution of 1440x900. The screen is quite handy and beautiful to use. A procurer would have a large array of rear-lighting regulation. The device's screen has an edge over it competitors, which means in direct sunlight situation the rear-lighting could be adjusted in order to view information and read them.

Keyboard and Touchpad

The bottom panel featured in the device as the ability to withstand any pressure a procurer might enact on it. The keyboard is quite firm and have a solid feel that is not subjected flex.

A procurer would find comfort when type with the keyboard of the M6300 laptop. The keyboard response it quite fast and accurate when using it to type.

In every laptop device or computer the processor speed is responsible for the fast procession of information and document. When taking this part into consideration the M6300 by the Dell Company is adequate equipped. The device is featured with a 2.0GHz Intel Core 2 Duo T7250 processor which is quite lower when compared to the Toshiba Qosmio that has a Toshiba Qosmio G45 (2.50GHz Intel Core 2 Duo T9300.

On the left of the device a procurer would find the Kensington lock slot, optical drive and two USB ports, which quite adequate. Some procurers are of the opinion that a HDMI port should have been included in this device.

Taking a view at the front of the M6300 the volume and media knobs are situated.
While the right of the device features the HDD/SDD bay, fire-wire, memory card reader etc.
Four USB ports, DVI, VGA, S-video and power connect are found at the rear of the M6300 laptop.

The Dell M6300 generates power from a 9-cell Lithium Ion battery that is equipped with a capacity of 85Wh. Under standard usage circumstance the battery is able to stay for about 222 minutes, which in my opinion should be improved on.

The M6300 by the Dell Company has a lot of features, performance and handiness. It goes a lot way in trying to make processing of document and information that one could imagine.
