The Review of Golden Corral Restaurant in Baltimore Area

We are fond of trying various restaurants here in the USA, even if they are not serving the Indian food items. Sometimes, such experiments are very enjoyable and in some cases, they may not be very enjoyable. We recently visited Golden Corral restaurant, situated at 7908 Rossville Blvd. MD-21236, having phone number as 410 665 7405 for the morning sunrise breakfast buffet that is served between 7 am to 11 am. I am going to cover a brief review of our said visit for the breakfast buffet at this Golden Corral restaurant.

There is a large chain of this restaurant in the USA. And serving various types of buffets is their specialty. We were a group of five people in all including our 2 years old grand son during our visit to this restaurant for breakfast buffet. We reached the restaurant at around 9.30 am and were shocked to see a large queue at the paying counter. However, we were relived to see that in spite of heavy rush of the people, there still were many empty tables. The sitting capacity of this restaurant is around 250 with the spacious layout and nice arrangements of the tables in the entire restaurant. The drinks like tea, coffee, and hot chocolates are served at the table by the attending waiter. There were five main counters in all in this breakfast buffet. The first counter consisted of the scrambled eggs, French fries, golden Waffles, biscuits, chicken items, beef items, hash browns, bacon, French toasts, etc. The second counter consisted of various types of pancakes served hot in blue berry/ chocolate chips and plain varieties along with the many types of syrups to apply on pancakes. The hot omelets are also made to order at this counter as per your taste and served steaming hot to all the customers. The boiled eggs and the scrambled eggs made to order are also available at this counter. The third counter was having a juice bar. There were six varieties of juices served at this bar like orange juice, apple juice, orange/guava/passion fruit punch, and V8 vegetable juice etc.

The next counter was the salad counter. The counter served all types of salad items like tomatoes, cucumbers, carrots, olives, and the delicious fruit salad. Some fresh fruits and the scented yoghurts were also served at this counter. The final counter was for the items that we all like the most. These were the desert items. The counter was full of delicious items like muffins, Kaiser Rolls, chocolate chip cookies, carrot cake, chocolate cake, brownies, apple pie, banana pudding, bread pudding, cheery pie, coconut cookies, and the most delicious pecan pie. There were so many varieties of such desert items that you may get tired of eating them all in one buffet. The ice cream was also served at this counter in softy style in around five varieties. We were really amazed at the varieties served at all these counters. We went on trying all the items till finally we got full and even after that, many items were left out untried.

The soft drinks like Pepsi, coke, and others are charged extra at the rate of $1.79 per drink with free refills. We could not believe that the charges for such lavish buffet were only $8.29 per adult. We were also given a discount of $ 1.0 applicable to the senior citizens above 60 years of age. We considered these charges quiet good and reasonable, looking to the quality and the varieties of the items served. The restaurant remains open all seven days a week. The specific timings are specified for each type of buffet. The beef lovers would like this restaurant in particular as there were many spicy and tasty beef items available here in the buffet. We all had to skip our lunch after this lovely buffet and even our dinner was also very light. We had been at the restaurant enjoying our buffet for around one and a half hour. Though, there is no time limit for sitting at the restaurant, the restaurant management imposes a maximum time limit of one hour and fifteen minutes in case there is a waiting.

Our experience at this Golden Corral restaurant was really enjoyable and I have no hesitation in recommending this restaurant to all my AC readers and friends to make sure to visit this unique restaurant at any time for the buffet of their like and choice and that too at very reasonable charges.
