The Review of Honeygo Child Development Center in Baltimore Area

Most of the parents in the USA have most common unique problem to tackle and that is how to take care of their children so that both the parents can work. Unless there is somebody like aged parents to take care of the child, there is only one option left with the parents and that is to put their child in some child care center. Our son has recently put our grand son at one of such care centers at Baltimore. I am going to cover the brief review of Honeygo Child Development Center, where our grand son is admitted recently.

Honeygo Child Development Center is situated at 4705E Joppa Road, Perry Hall, MD-21128, having phone number as 410-256-2100. This child center is accepting all the children from as young as 15 days to 5 years. There are various different classes for each age group at this center. The center is owned by one middle aged couple and is operating this center since last 15 years. The center has large premises of around 3000 square feet of construction. There is a beautiful garden all around it, where the children can have very good time during summer, spring, and the fall. There are in all 85 children admitted at this center at present in all age groups. As our grand son falls in the age group of around 2 years, he is placed in toddler's class. There are around twelve teachers working full time here. There are two teachers provided for the average class of ten children in the age group of 2 to3 years. The center starts at 7 am in the morning and ends at 6 pm in the evening. It works five days a week from Monday to Friday and remains closed during the weekend. There are many toys of almost all varieties at the center and the children of all ages can enjoy playing with them. There is also a nice library here at the center and the children are encouraged to read or see all the books available here.

The morning breakfast is served at around 8 am to all the children. The breakfast may have cereals, pancakes, waffles, bagels, juice, fruit, milk, and the scrambled eggs as per the schedule of the week released in advance. The lunch is served at 11.30 am and can have varieties like sandwiches, hot dog, macaroni and cheese, fruits, spaghetti, and sticks. The center provides vegetarian food items to the children who are strictly vegetarian like our grand son. The afternoon snacks like cheese crackers, cookies, and any type of fruit are also served at around 4 pm. The children are also encouraged to take a nap for around couple of hours after lunch. The sleeping beds are provided by the center. However, the mattresses and the blankets are to be brought by the children from home. The children also are taken outside in the early evening hours. There is also a park where the children can play with many types of toy rides. The security measures are also quiet effective and the personal ids of the person coming for taking the child is verified. The teachers are also very caring and they pay personal attention to each child. We are very happy now as our grand son has settled in this center very well and thus, freeing our entire family from the worry as to how both our son and daughter in law would be able to work during our absence from the country. Our grand son is so much fond of the center that he also wants to go to the center even on weekend days. The only aspect that slightly can bother all the parents is the rates of this child center. We are charged $200 for one week for our grand son. These charges include all the three meals and the flexible time from 7 am to 6 pm. One other aspect that may bother the parents is that the full charges of $200 per week are to be paid, even if you wish to send your child only for few days in a week. The charges are to be paid in advance of every week and the center accepts the payment by check or cash. The payments through credit cards are not accepted.

This center is very nice and I strongly suggest all my readers and parents of Baltimore area to avail the services of this center in case of need. Once they do this, they can be free from all the worries and the anxieties as to how to take care of their children so that both the parents can work.
