The Rich and the Poor

Steven West
What's so important about money?
What can it really supply?
Easy enough to say this,
But heck, I'm a wealthy guy.

I have boat loads of money.
I'm in the one per cent.
So please don't erect on my property
One of your homeless tents.

I am really sympathetic.
I truly feel your pain.
But if you don't get off my property,
You'll be attacked by my Great Dane.

I pay my fair taxes.
I pay close to one per cent.
Remove yourself from my property
Or pay a hefty rent.

Hey, sticking your finger at me,
Is really not very funny.
So hit the road and don't come back
Unless you have lots of money.
