Scams
Some of the scams that I've come across:
• Chain Letters
I've gotten chain letters in the mail that tell you to add your name to a list and send everybody else on the list $1, or $5. In the letter they always claim that you can make thousands of dollars by doing this. I always throw these letters away because I know they're a scam.
• Lottery In A Foreign Country
Another scam that I often come across is people who send you an email or a letter saying that you've won some lottery in a foreign country. This is always kind of funny because I never enter any lotteries in foreign countries. How could I possibly win something that I don't enter? Using some common sense would tell you what the smart thing to do is, which is ignore these things and spend your valuable time elsewhere.
Win Money In A Lottery
Even if you did win a bunch of money in a lottery, would you be able to manage the money, in a way, in order to be able to maintain a lifestyle? Many people win money in lotteries and wind up spending the money on frivolous things. Some wind up being worse off than they were before they won the money because they have accumulated so much debt.
Victim To Scammers
Sadly, many people fall victim to scammers because they want to get rich quick. I've come to the realization in my own mind that there's no such thing as getting rich quick.
Get Rich Quick
I think everybody would be a lot better off if we gave up on this idea of, get rich quick.
Keep And Maintain Richness
In order to be able to keep and maintain richness in life, you have to learn how to manage it. If you use your money wisely, then you can learn how to make it grow through making wise investments.
Hard Work And Perseverance
If there is one thing in this world that pays off more than anything else on this planet, it is hard work and perseverance.
A New Idea
I'd like to introduce a new idea here. Take your time and get rich slowly. When you get rich slowly, you learn how to manage your wealth in a way that doesn't squander it.
The Get Rich Quick Scams
Remember, the get rich quick scams are toxic, and they take you away from reality. It's always good to have your head in the clouds with your feet firmly planted on the ground.
Acceptance
Having acceptance of reality has its advantages by dealing with what you can do and breaking it down in steps so that you can get to your goals.
Get Rich Slowly
If you take the time to get rich slowly, then you're much more likely to know how to keep your money and use it in a wise way and not squander it and end up broke and penniless.

Post a CommentI agree with Kim here. I'm glad to see those scams get exposed.
I love it. But wait...you mean I didn't win the Nigerian, U.K., or Canadian Lotteries, and that email wasn't really from the FBI wanting my personal info to release my 22.9 million from my deceased heir the king of some country I've never heard of? Rats! I thought I finally was rich!
GREAT! I hate them.
Good reminder for all.
I'd rather be blessed than be rich! Cheers :)
Good points!
lol. my favorite is the one where you get an email saying you have a long lost relative in some foreign country that died and is leaving everything to you.
