The Right Line

I just have to work harder,

If I can do it for me,

I can do it for my daughter,

This is what it is right now,

A hard struggle,

But I can speak my mind,

No mussel,

I'm kind of bitter and fussy,

I keep good control of my emotions,

That's what has sustained me so long,

It's a blessing from God,

If you don't know yourself,

You don't know anything,

How can you bring anything to this life if you don't know who you are,

You make strangers your star,

But know nothing about you,

I just found me,

Now I have to fight out of this darkness so I can see,

I made a mess when I wasn't man enough to confess,

Now I am a few laps behind,

Yet I find myself in the right state of mind,

And I am in the right line.
