The Ring

Mike Spain

A part of me a spark a love is you

A brush of paint a taste honey of pink

A vow of love a promise kept it true

A seal a mark the deal is done in ink

The ring it tarnishes and fades a way

A shine it hides away from you and me

The stone it chips and words left to say

The curses heard left fear and tears to see

If love endures and pride may find a place

To hide a way among the broken dreams

Way deep inside a heart a love saves face

A warm embrace in eyes so true love beams

It molds to fingers like a strand of string

A part of me a part of you the ring

Precious indeed. Wow Mike, you have such a gift that I can not even come close to. My sincere compliments. I loved it. May God continue to use your gift to inspire and bless others as you have me. :-)
