The Road to Passion

A.M. Morgan
Once again

The emotional weight appears

The pressure is felt in a trail of tears

A question is asked, "How did you get back here?"

You're feeling anxiety but you are willing to dismiss fear

The answer is present so there is no need to pretend

Work must be replaced by passion or resentment will become your friend

More money won't suffice for something your heart isn't in

Complacency is not the mold you are most comfortable in

Outside the box you roam while many would rather you fall back into the norm

As life moves forward you walk within a spiritual storm

As your talent is discovered it continues to grow

No matter how you shield it still manages to show

The closer you are to achieving your dreams the less true friends you'll have it seems

So what does all of this really mean?

Simply that,

The road to finding your passion is not squeaky clean

Wow, excellent work once again. This is especially true for many of your fellow writers. ;-)

Oh, AMEN, and I especially identify with the part about passion being more important than work or money; that's why so many people who make the big bucks are so unhappy!
