When people think of hard-rock during the seventies, they think of Aerosmith. They were compared because of their power and intensity in the way they play their music. Joe Perry of Aerosmith said that Aerosmith was America's band that became the ultimate party band. Secondly, "Aerosmith drew upon rock and roll tradition, evincing blues-based British Invasion influences." The difference was that they were showy than British groups which developed am outline of rock music during the seventies. After releasing three albums they became America's rock and roll band of the seventies. Lastly, Aerosmith had released many major hit albums. The album "Toys in the Attic" established that Aerosmith is America's band. The album "Walk this Way" included the song called "Sweet Emotion" which was Aerosmith's first top forty hit. By the end of the 80s, Because of what they did for many years, Aerosmith became America's band of the 70s and 80s as well as being one of the best rock bands of all time.

Their second album released was "Queen II" which changed how studio technology was used in many ways with hard rock.
