The Rocky Horror Picture Show Live: A Great Halloween Show to Go See for Adults!

Have you ever been to a live musical? It's a very exciting experience. A great show to go see around Halloween and dress up and have fun with it. Well I recently went to see Rocky Horror Picture Show live and it's quite a different experience than the everyday musical. Fun adult entertainment, wild and crazy music, actors that are enjoying their part for everything and audience antics and that's just the start to this entertaining show! This bit I put together is based on the show I saw here in Dallas other Rocky Horror Picture Show live casts might not do things the same.

For the start if you have never been to see this live your marked as a "Rocky Virgin" so placed on your head is a big red V in lipstick. While you wait in line some theaters might offer to sell you prop packs filled with items you can use at certain times in the show, I suggest you get one. While waiting in line also talk to people around you especially being new to the show ask what time and how to use certain prop items so you don't miss out on all the fun.

Now at least at my show it was 18 and up so I suggest checking before you attend if you are under 18. Most theaters check ID also so I would have your state identification ready. If you are apposed to nudity, cursing, weird sexual behaviors and corny fake death scenes then this might not be the show for you but it you like all that then you're in for a ride.

Before the show starts they might play some music and have people dance its fun so if you want to join in and they say come on up have a good time with it. Then they'll go over the rules. The rules are basically the casts' rules and they expect you to follow them. They'll also sometimes do a funny little game in which someone will win a prize, one week it was a disturbing game including tampons, a red liquid substance and a relay race to get the most liquid without using your hands. So you could imagine and the mess and the responses and reactions they got. Shortly into the show they'll be a time they request everyone to stand up and do "The Time Warp" it's a little dance that they'll explain. It's a lot of fun.

Ok I don't want to give it all away but basically you'll enjoy the adventures of Brad and Janet and there discovery of the world of Dr. Frank-N-Furter and his brand new project Rocky. So good luck and I hope you enjoy "The Rocky Horror Picture Show".
