One afternoon, my son kept asking me to get online and play this new game he bought called Call of Duty 4 with him. I reluctantly loaded the game up, and he showed me how to play. That was it. I was hooked. Now I know I'm not your typical gamer, almost 40 something mom, pretty conservative and very mild mannered in real life. Online gaming has been a blast for my boys and me. It's been a fun time.
We began playing online, and also joined a gaming community (clan) to enjoy more competitive game play. They have really honed our skills and added a new dimension to gaming online. The group is called the Rogue Saints and has been a long established gaming clan, very well known in the online gaming arena, and also a gaming community based on honor, teamwork and dedication. It really is a great group of mature people who enjoy online gaming.
Currently, they are offering three games, IL2 Sturmovik 1946, Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare, and Warhammer Online: Age of Reckoning. This is Rogue Saint's first MMO (Massively Multiplayer Online) team. Great things are expected to be following, as the team leadership is outstanding, as they are with all of Rogue Saint's teams.
There will be more teams offered later this year with the release of newer games this fall. Rogue Saints, as a community of online gamers, are awaiting the release of Battlefield 3, Storm of War: Battle of Britain, and America's Army 3.0. You need to stop by and check it out. Even if there isn't anything that interests you now, stop back by in a few months. There will be much more to offer.
If you enjoy online gaming, and are looking for a dedicated group to game with, you need to stop by and see what they are all about. It's been the best addition to our online gaming experience. The Rogue Saints are currently recruiting, so stop by the Rogue Saint's forums at http://www.rogue-saints.com and fill out an application.

What an enticing article! I do play the silly online games at zone.com. I don't know how I would fare in all the combat games! Thanks for an interesting piece.
I enjoyed your report Deborah. A few years ago I was playing Black Hawk Down and recall having a real blast. You have piqued my interest in gaming once again ;-)
I wouldn't even know what online gaming is, Deborah, but if it interests you that much, I may have to give it a look.
