The Role of the Church in the World

Denise
All around the world there are people gathered together for a common purpose. This purpose is to learn, teach, worship and follow a divine deity who is the creator of all existence. As in many other subjects studied in school, we are required to be attentively good students in order to be great teachers. In other words, we must be truly interested in the word of God and all that he represents with full acceptance. Furthermore, our interest in God's word will motivate us to learn about him through other books about him available through our religious affiliation.

Not only should we learn it and memorize it, but to live by it in everything we do and say. For instance, whatever we do in life should be matched to what Jesus would have done in our shoes. This is the role of the church to represent God as our father in heaven and acknowledge Jesus as his son who was crucified on our behalf. Meaning, all church goers are required to symbolize what God and son Christ Jesus stands for. It often amazes me how other areas of life are given the respect that God should be given. In fact, our jobs requires us to be prompt, do our work, be professional, and dress appropriately.

Our employers do not have to care about our personal hang-ups or that we were hurt before. The only requirement is to be a good employee worth promoting and respecting. In the service, you are required to get up early, do as your told, learn to fight and defend . Whenever you are out of line there are consequences to put you back in line. To sign up for the service is generally agreeing to everything that might happen there to protect our country. In school you are to be prompt, do your homework daily, pay attention, and learn the subjects. Why can't we learn to come dressed appropriately, pay attention, be kind , be helpful, teach others, give to others, worship, and follow the rules to please God?

God will not get in your face like your boss, sergeant or teacher due to the fact that he is long suffering. Moreover, God gives us all the right to choose how we want to live our lives. The most important thing to think about is this freedom he gives us. From the Bible we know that we are born in sin and shaped in iniquity which says that we naturally are sinners. Sinners minds can go to a very base and low level as it possibly can go without the intervention of God. God wants to help those who do not want to be that way, and wish that for everyone. Our freedom is as important as money. In fact, let's call it the Life CashCard that we spend with each and everything we do. As with money, life cash is important by how we spend it. For instance, if we spend our life cash account with irresponsibility, gossip, withholding important information from people who have less money than you, hurting someone to get back at another, stealing, coveting, and all else God would frown at is making a huge life debt to God.

In credit card and other debt you have to pay fees according to how high it is. Sometimes, you may have to pay an over limit, late fee, finance charge and high APR percentage. Life cash allows you to make up for it only if you want to. Nevertheless, it is written in the heavenly documents as a debt you owe to God. Asking for forgiveness is a small gesture, but correcting the behavior is really paying off the debt with every chance God gives you. Those who use their life cash to do good things are given heavenly bonuses. This does not mean that they are exempt from trials in this life. They may have more than those who used up their life cash for selfish reasons. God will get closer to those who try to please him with their whole heart. He will stay close by you through all the burdens, and will even in HIS time bless you for it.

Those who do nothing about the ever rising charges of their life cash account will have to pay for it through God's wrath. Those who slap a person and later on they are slapped back are the lucky ones. On the other hand, those who do wicked for years without getting any of it back will have an abundance of negativity come into their lives. We as a church in every denomination must take life seriously ourselves in order to prepare those in the world for God's second coming. You may not see it yourself, but those people who live in this dark world without hope will see something beautiful in you that will make a positive impact in their lives. Remember that the Bible says we are to be peculiar people to stand out without blending into the world. There will be persecution for many, but we are to march on in the army of the lord. Have faith and be strong leaders in the world.
