The Role of the Internet in the Future

I am preparing this article thinking of the future role of the Internet that will bring fantastic changes and progress to humans' daily lives. Internet has developed a lot after its concept, and every now and then leaps to more and more heights with the human aspirations and imaginations.

Many wakes of developments are being implemented day by day. I am writing this article and the world's population is reading and reflecting over it without any difficulty. Communication is gaining momentum in such a swift and frequents way that we cannot imagine. I am thinking about the future role of Internet and the World Wide Web in the society.

I was not aware about the computers and the related aspects like Internet. It is a matter of few years' back. That time I had been in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. I was working there in a steel plant. This plant is employed with almost all nationalities of the world like US, UK, Germany, Philippines, India, Pakistan, Japan, Srilanka, Bangladesh...and so on. This plant was promoted by the German Counter part of the Saudis. Here computers control the operations of the plant. The stores were centralized and any item required by a department is available easily using the computers. It was interesting to me. I thought about the capabilities of the computers and wondered about how I can master the computers. Mean while I shifted to Riyadh City, the capital of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia where I worked in Riyadh Water Authority. While working here, I bought a small computer and started to learn small programs in basic. Some of my friends jokingly told me that I would become mad, If I were investing my brain like this! After few years I finished the job in the Saudi and returned to India.

Here in my native place, I started to learn HTML. I hosted my web site. I used to change the content of my site frequently or whenever it required. I started to browse through the net. I was always wondering about the numerous facilities of the Internet. Different parts of the world are connected within no time. World News is flashing as the lightening lines in the sky. Medical Science and Research environments are enriched. Business and commerce are flourished. Online shopping became at its peak. Online education and training became a very normal practice. People could see through web cams from remote areas. The Internet has brought progress to the world in more and more spheres. This tendency will continue in the future.

When I was struggling to learn the basic steps to enter into the World Wide Web, all of my family members were blaming me that it is not a good profession for me. It is sure there are lot of unwanted things like adult and sexual related effects, scams, frauds, etc. But the good virtues of internet to the humanity is at its height. Let us practice the good sides only.

Here I am using the Internet to communicate all this ideas among the members of this sight or the people of this great world. Big companies involved in the field of Internet related means are encouraging people providing awards as 'most valuable net people.' Some others are giving free software packages to boost the Internet arena. Tremendous developments in this field are in the backdrops of the scene to come out in the future.

So, I am concluding that the future of Internet is so bright and that will brighten the whole world.
