I called and set up a meeting. The guy seemed cool and the room was just spacious enough for me to move in all me and my girlfriend's stuff. I told him I wanted the room and wanted to move forward into settling in. He recieved payment and i thought that everything was settled. A day before I start moving my stuff in, he asks me to come to the office with him. I find out the office wants to just get my information. I'm thinking just for work history and a criminal record. Little did I know that this was just the beginning.
After the office craziness, I moved in my stuff. It took 3 days in total but after all the work, I was finally moved in. Day one was cool. I got to stay home from work and go handle some business. Nothing is said to me about anything regarding the office. Day two was crazy. I find out that my new roommates father, who lives in the complex, asked to credit check me for his son. Second, the guy goes in my room after I leave out and moves some of my stuff. Third, the guy says that a neighbor from downstairs got upset for the noise we were making.
And after all that to top it off, he just told me that i might not even get approvement for the apartment. After all the moving and struggling, I might have to do it all again. And all the while he said I can have a month to make plans to move. I guess I should have checked to make sure he was cool. i guess I made a bad mistake,
