The Route 33 Diner is a fantastic addition to this part of the country, and it is very nostalgic.A trip to the Hocking Hills Market is not complete without a meal at the Route 33 Diner in Rockbridge Ohio.

The service is very good. The waitress that served my party was friendly, efficient and sweet. I had the taco salad, it was great. The Blt was also great. My party also orders a Reuben and it was really delicious. We ordered desserts also. The peanut butter pie was heavenly, We also tried Hummingbird Cake. It was unique and fantastic. I took home a dozen of the best cookies I have ever tried. They were fresh, soft and delicious. The cookies reminded me of something grandma baked when I was a kid.

I would recommend the Route 33 Diner to anyone in the Hocking Hills region. You will get a great meal in a nice atmosphere. The staff is friendly, and the food is great! The Route 33 Diner is open seven days a week. Specials are offered daily, and the food can not be beat. Yhis is a two thumbs up restaurant in Rockbridge Ohio. Our church group would look forward to eating after services at the old '33' Diner
and we miss the sweet potato pancakes and
homemade hash, what happened to the old place? We always thought it would go on forever. The diner/restaurant was the cleanest place around and the back room was
a welcome place to congregate in. We would like to know if the previous management team has another operation in the area or they retired. We will give the new operators a try in the near future when the weather clears up. God bless one and all.

Me and the wife ate at the Diner 3 times a week for two years and never one time had a problem. Never saw the manager "drunk", he was always friendly and on top of things at the Diner; rumors
are most often false, don't these naysayers read the Bible?!!.Me and the wife miss the sausage and gravy and the
friendly conversation from the crew that worked there, "manager was always drunk"?
get a better life reviewer or at least get your facts down right; how many times
did you eat at the Diner? Bah Humbug?

I would have to diagree with this review, this diner is way over priced and the some of the stafff is rude. It depends on who is cooking weather your food is going to be good, and there isin't much of a selection. If you like greasy, burnt food you might like it. I have heard rumors about this place that the manager is always drunk.
