The Royal Oak Music Theatre at 318 W. Fourth St. between Washington and Lafayette avenues specializes on different types of entertainment. The theater offers such productions as off-Broadway plays, musicals and dance performances, as well as live music and comedy.
The theater was established in 1928. In 1978, it began hosting live music and comedy almost exclusively. This continued until 2004, when other productions were brought to the theater.
The theater continues to change, but it still remains one of the best places for entertainment in Royal Oak. Upcoming shows and events can be found on the website.
