The Rumors Are True! Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt Are Expecting Twins!

After months of speculation from celebrity gossip magazines like Star Magazine, Angelina finally confirmed that she is indeed pregnant with twins!

It doesn't look like confirming the twin rumors was on Angelina Jolie's mind going into the interview with Natalie Morales of the TODAY show. However, her Kung Fu Panda co-star, Jack Black, accidentally let it slip leaving Angelina with no choice but to confirm the rumors.

Angelina and Jack Black were in Cannes, France promoting their new movie, Kung Fu Panda and doing a joint interview to be aired on the TODAY show and Access Hollywood. During the interview, Jack Black made a joke about Angelina Jolie having as many children as the Brady Bunch after the birth of the twins prompting Natalie Morales to ask Angelina if the rumors were in fact true.

Angelina Jolie took the chance and confirmed the rumors that she and Brad Pitt are expecting two new babies. Natalie Morales pressed Angelina for more details about the sex of the twins, but Angelina simply said that she and Brad Pitt wanted to keep that detail private for the time being.

Jack Black apologized on air to Angelina Jolie for the slip-up, but let's face it, he didn't exactly say anything that hadn't been said a million times before. Perhaps Angelina Jolie was just ready to go ahead and confirm the rumors and hope that the gossip would die down.

So what does this mean for Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt? The A-list couple are already parents to four other children - Maddox, Pax, Zahara and Shiloh. The first three children were all adopted from other countries and Shiloh is Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie's biological daughter. The yet-to-be born twins are sure to be a welcome addition to the happy and ever-growing family.

It was also reported that Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt took the two older children, Maddox and Pax, along to a sonogram appointment on Mother's Day so they could see their unborn siblings. Zahara and Shiloh were both left at home, since both Brad and Angelina they felt they would be too young to understand or appreciate the experience. What a great way to spend Mother's Day!

Hollywood A-listers are sure to have fun shopping for two new Jolie-Pitt babies instead of one. No doubt, Angelina Jolie's twin baby shower will be a celebrity-filled event.
