However, after introduction of the 8900 and 9000 series' the BlackBerry Curve 8330 and other 8300 series' phones continue to be an affordable standby in today's ever changing mobile electronic landscape.

Pros & Cons:

Pros:
- Ease of use.
- Compatibility with most networks, devices, and computers.
- Clean running, simple, and streamlined version of older BlackBerry phones.
- Supported and easily serviceable almost anywhere.
- Rugged and durable.

Cons:
- Lack 3G network and Wi-Fi.
- Slows quite easily with new applications and susceptible to freezing.
- Weak trackball, may need replacement.

The Rundown:
- The BlackBerry 8330 will hold strong as a popular phone choice for at least the next couple of years. If money and durability are a factor but the newest features and capabilities are a necessity this phone is for you.
- If you have a little more money to spare, the BlackBerry Curve series 8500 and 8900 are also good choices. Both series' eliminate the cons of the 8300 series: through better more powerful processors in each and elimination of the trackball for track bad in the 8500 series and improved ruggedness of the trackball in the 8900 series.
