A Commentary and Analysis
League #1
Inking it Over put up a good battle, but in the end The Wordsmiths just a bit more firepower as they ultimately won by about 36,000 page views.
League #2
Even with Victoria Leigh leading her sLeigh of Page Views, I had been hesitant to call this one. As it turns out, I may have had some wisdom.
Page Views Gone BurZurko led by Roz Zurko continued going berserk right up to the finish line. When it was over they were 35,000+ page views short of Victoria Leigh winning sLeigh of Page Views team. However, with each passing day as they drew closer, the sLiegh was clearly shaking in its runners. The Underdogs, led by both Kofi Bofah and Jan Peterson and a nice performance by Kay Whittenhauer, finished 26,000+ page views ahead of 4th place Preying on Page Views. Jolie du Pre's strong campaign was not enough to offset the loss of Norman Rubin. Even without Norman Rubin down the stretch, Preying on Page Views finished 140,000+ page views ahead of TheShapoopyWooWoos. Let us hope that TheShapoopyWooWoos have better days ahead.
League #3
In the end as it has been for some time, the dynamic trio Ron McQuade, JerseyNana and T. Hillukka proved too strong to overcome. Their nearest competitor, Turn the Page fell short by 84,000+ page views
Though Turn the Page was the favorite to win this race, they should not be disappointed with finishing in second place. Abby Greenhill was a hearty producer right down until the final day. Newcomer Tal Baldo continues to shine. Jennifer Budd also impressed the crowds as well.
In the final days of the competition, PenWorthy padded their lead over Die by the Pen by 33,500+ page views. Primarily they were powered by Millionaire Hoy's page views. Taylor Rios finished strong and was the their #2 Contributor and Maria Roth was #3
Die by the Pen finished in 4th place. Although they formed a balanced attack, Patricia Sicilia definitely was the leader of the team. Shelly Barclay also put up a lot of material did well in the page view department.
The Write Source finished in 5th place about 61,000 page views behind Die by the Pen. I continue to hope all is well with Cherie Bowser and her family. She did remain this team's leader from start to finish. M.G. "Running Shoes" Hardiman put in a solid performance. Like her avatar, R.C Johnson is a flower that is continuing to bloom on Associated Content.
Page Waves won the battle in the trenches for 6th place. Mike Spain, Memmay Moore and Dina Quirion were this team's top three Contributors with 93,000+ collective page views. Jack Wellman also fired off 19,000+ page views of his own.
Unfortunately for Writer's Block they ultimately fell as far as they had climbed. No one question the leadership and example that Pattie Byrd set. She was an active Contributor, publishing many articles and collecting 52,500+ page views. Gayle Crabtree and Nancy Canfield filled up their tummies, combining for nearly 55,000 page views. Magena Fawn also chimed in with both page views and cheers.

Excellent... :o)
I've really gotten a lot out of these races, despite the fact that I had to contend with my first case of Writer's Block and my computer was completely inoperable for at least a month. Thanks so much, Han! Love the commentary!
