Mini LED flashlights are simply a miniature version of the standard flashlight. They can easily fit onto a keychain or in a glove box, helping to provide light when you find yourself in the dark.
The uses for these mini flashlights include:
-The glove box of your car in the event of a flat tire at night or other mechanical breakdown where light is desperately needed.
-Hunting or camping trips where having a flashlight is a must at night. Because of their small size and powerful lighting, they make packing much easier and more convenient.
-Around the house or garage. They make having light in the case of blackout so much easier.
The key feature with the mini LED flashlight is in the bulb. LED, or light emitting diode, as they are also known as, is a far superior bulb compared to a standard filament type flashlight bulb. It provides for up to 10,000 hours of unlimited use before needing to be replaced.
The mini LED flashlight does not use your typical AAA, C, or D type batteries. Instead these small flashlights use the small button type 1.5V battery similar to what you would find in watches or digital cameras. This is smaller than the 6.0V standard miniature flashlight battery which is bigger in size. It is also why these flashlights are so small and able to even be attached to a keychain.
So, why have these flashlights exploded in popularity over the past several years? Of course, the first reason would have to be their small size and convenience. Another good reason would be their extended battery life because they are an LED flashlight. But the biggest reason by far I believe is due to how bright these flashlights are. It is simply amazing at how far and how bright the LED light is. No matter how dark it is or where you are at, the mini LED flashlight will give you the light you need, when you need it.
There is no doubt that the flashlight has evolved over the years. The mini LED flashlight is living proof of that.
