The San Angel Inn Restaurante at Disney's Epcot Center in Florida: Restaurant Review

Jack Oceano
If you are in the mood for delicious Mexican cuisine, served in a dimly lit, romantic setting, head over to Mexico...at Epcot's World Showcase in Orlando, Florida. The San Angel Inn Restaurante is located at the Mexico Pavilion, and it is open daily for both lunch and dinner. Here is a restaurant review of the San Angel Inn Restaurante at Disney's Epcot Center in Florida.

You will feel as though you are dining under the stars at the San Angel Inn Restaurante. You will have a magnificent view, as the restaurant is set right above the Gran Fiesta Tour, which is a calm, relaxing boat ride featuring the Three Caballeros - Panchito, Jose Carioca, and Donald Duck. But don't let the duck fool you - the San Angel Inn Restaurante boasts outstanding, authentic Mexican cuisine in a magnificent, romantic atmosphere.

The service at the San Angel Inn Restaurante is superb. The staff is fast and friendly. The food is cooked to perfection, and it's prepared and arranged wonderfully on your plate. Highly recommended is the tortillas with sliced beef or chicken, which are delicious and filling. Wash them down with a Mexican beer or glass of red or white wine. And save room for dessert, because a piece of flan is the perfect ending to every Mexican meal.

Prices at the San Angel Inn Restaurante are very reasonable, considering the quality of food and delightful setting. Lunch entrees range from ten dollars up; dinner from approximately fifteen. The San Angel Inn Restaurante accepts the Disney Dining Experience card, so if you have one, you can save twenty percent. This is one meal, however, in which you will definitely get your money's worth.

It is always recommended that you call ahead to 1-800-WDW-DINE for priority seating, because all the decent restaurants at Disney's Epcot Center become booked up just about every night of the year, and it is nearly impossible to get a table anywhere as a walk-in. If you haven't made reservations, you are mu8ch more likely to get a table at the San Angel Inn Restaurante for lunch rather than dinner, so eat early.

After your meal, take a nice, relaxing ride on the Gran Fiesta Tour starring the Three Caballeros - Panchito, Jose Carioca, and Donald Duck. This boat ride, which used to be called The River of Time, has been updated, and it's now a lot more fun.
