The San Antonio Spurs Are Ready to Shine

The Spurs are always the team that seems to be at the top of every ones list to win in the NBA playoffs. Not that the Spurs should not be at the top. They have been together for a very long time, so the team and the Coach have tremendous chemistry with each other. Also they are one of the most disciplined teams in the league. Not too much flash or drama like other teams, they just go out an play ball.

With Manu Ginobili hurt the Spurs fans might panic, don't fear he said the pain was going away he should be back in the Spurs line up for game two. That should give them a boost to have one of their best scorers back.

Tim Duncan is getting old like we all will if we are that lucky. Yet Tim Duncan has always been "The Big Fundamentalist". Tim Duncan plays basketball by the book and he plays it extra good. There is not much flash if any to his game, he just plays solid defense and puts the ball in the basket. That sounds very simple, apparently its not and that's why Tim Duncan is going to still be a valued asset in these NBA playoffs this year.

Tony Parker is one of the fastest players in the NBA. Who can stay in front of him on the Grizzlies? Tony Parker is just going to blow by them in the paint until they figure something out.

As far as the rest of the team they will be ready because coach Greg Popovich will make sure of that. Doesn't he look mean and hard to work for? What ever he's been doing all these years has been working, but he's one mean looking man.

George Hill could be one of those guys that become the hero of the playoffs. Ever NBA playoffs has a player that usually doesn't get much recognition that steps up and becomes famous. The NBA PLAYOFFS makes stars. The first game George Hill is going to take advantage of Ginobili being out and he should. This is his time to shine.

Richard Jefferson is going to light up the score board also. If Ginobili is limited the Spurs are not worried because they have a deep bench that's ready to get their shine on! The NBA stage is where they can do it.
