All That Glitters is an exhibits that explores the beauty and science of gems and minerals. I am fascinated by gems. Therefore, this exhibit has my name written all over it. We all know that gems sparkle; however, we might not know that opals, sapphires, and rubies have histories as old as the Earth itself. San Diego is one of the most famous gem-producing regions in the world . It's too bad that there are no samples of gems to take home from this exhibit This gem of an exhibit runs until May 15th, 2012.
People who visit the San Diego Natural History Museum will be thirsty to view an exhibit dedicated to water. Water: A California Story is a hands-on exhibit. It allows visitors to learn how we can save water for future generations. In addition, having live animals in this exhibit will hopefully remind us that people and animals must use water together. There is no end date to this exhibit.
History and reptile lovers of all ages will enjoy an exhibit devoted to lizards and snakes. Lizards and Snakes: Alive involves everything we want to know about reptiles. Did you know that there are shy animals or that there are reptiles that are as bright as peridots? Yes, this exhibit will make people reptile literate or reptile literate. It opens in October.
Museums provide us with many hours of entertainment and education. I have been visiting museums since I was five. San Diego has some of the best museums for people to explore in their free time. Most of San Diego's museums are located in Balboa Park. I am a history buff; so I love the San Diego Natural History Museum. There is a gem exhibit, a water exhibit, and a reptile exhibit that will make people lifetime museum lovers. Source: www.sdnhm.org
