The Sandwich Shack: Fresh Made Sandwiches that Will Make You Come Back for More!

The Sandwich Shack, located in Chesnee, SC caught my attention as I was driving by one day. I'm a very picky person when it comes to how I like my sandwiches so at first I was reluctant to stop. Now, I am so glad I did.

They are fresh, made as you order sandwiches that range from all different kinds of meats and cheeses. My favorite would have to be the Philly Cheese Steak. It is absolutely marvelous. The meat is stacked high on the sandwich and the cheeses are melted just right. It also has sauteed onions, peppers, and mushrooms.

They make fresh potato chips that are out of this world. They are thickly cut and deep fried just right. The chips also come with two different choices of dipping sauces. One is ranch, and the other is spicy ranch. They compliment the chips just right.

Never have I been to a deli that is reasonable priced and get as big of a portion as I do at The Sandwich Shack. Needless to say, it is very hard for me to finish my meal. The chips are packed high on the plate as well as the meat on your sandwich will be falling off the bread.

Their breads are made fresh, and there are many different varieties of them as well. They also offer soups, salads, and desserts, as well as a children's menu. They also have a daily special that changes every day.

One dessert in particular that I haven't had a chance to try just yet, is called The Chesnee Wedding Cake. At first I had no idea what that could possibly be, then I read the description. It is a warmed Moon Pie topped with Vanilla Ice Cream and Chocolate Syrup. Now, for all of us Southerners who have grown up on Moon Pies, that just sounds amazing to me.

I haven't had a chance to eat at The Sandwich Shack too many times, but the few times I've been there the food is absolutely great. The service is very exceptional, and usually is pretty fast. They also have punch cards where they punch your card for every sandwich you buy and once you have so many punches on your card, you get a menu item for free.

The Sandwich Shack is a sister restaurant to Carolina Cafe, which is also located in Chesnee, SC. I'm not very sure who the owners are, but they definitely know how to run a business.

So, from my experience I would recommend that any time you are in Chesnee, stop by The Sandwich Shack and grab a bite to eat. It is well worth your money, and I'm positive that you will come back for more.
