The Sansa Clip- the Economical MP3

Courant
If you're like me, you want a good reliable MP3 player that won't leave your wallet aching. I thought it was impossible to find something with a decent amount of quality for cheap in the world of colorful, yet extremely expensive iPods. Then I found the 2G Sansa Clip. It doesn't look like much, that's for sure- but you'll be surprised when you realize just what the Sansa Clip is capable of! It can hold up to a thousand songs, it can record audio files that can later be transferred back to your computer, and it connects and charges via your computer's USB port.

The battery also lasts for up to fifteen hours; strides ahead other MP3 players in its price range. Unfortunately, the Sansa leaves out some elements that make the iPods so fascinating to us- you can't store anything visual on the MP3, there are no games, and the screen consists of dull colors- not nearly as thrilling as the colorful user interface of an iPod or a Zune. The Sansa Clip is perfect for the busy person who doesn't need all of the flashy features. I use mine while I work, just to listen to music, and hook it up to my car's adaptor for long drives. Another man I know has a long commute, so the Sansa allows him to listen to audio books so he can keep up with his reading. The thing I find most unbelievable about the Sansa is just how sturdy it is! You would think something as small as it is wouldn't survive a single drop- I should know, I am extremely rough on MP3 players.

However, I've had mine for just over a year, and it doesn't even have a single scratch on it. You're probably wondering about how the Sansa Clip even begins to compare with its more expensive counterparts? The Zune holds the same amount of songs as the Sansa, but also has video capacity, much like many of the iPods. The Sansa also comes in a variety of colors, like its competitors. But what really sells this MP3 is its price. The price starts at around forty dollars; over a hundred dollars less than the starting price for one of Apple's iPod nanos and about fifty dollars less than the starting price of the Zune. So to conclude; if you're not looking for something to show off to your peers, just a little something that will last you a long time and play your music? Look no further than the 2G Sansa Clip.
